Student clubs and their involvement in college fest.
I am a part of Nova, the Literary club of MGIT
The college fest is filled with tech events and cultural events.

Dislikes

The syllabus is quite outdated and needs to be changed
The college must focus more on placements.
College fee is extremely high and it is not worth the fee

Course Curriculum Overview

Some parts of the syllabus was outdated when i joined but the later curriculms are very relevant to the present dates industry knowledge. The current trending topics are being included in the syllabus thus trying to making students industry ready.

Internships Opportunities

Deloitte has come and offered an internship for 3 students with stipend of 5,000. Edcults also provided internship for students with stipend and without stioend also. Around 20 students were provided with the internships in 3rd year

Placement Experience

Various companies come for college placements at MGIT. The placement drives are conducted in every recruitment season. The students are given opportunities for recruitment. The college also helps students to get placed in companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The current fee is 1,67,000/-. But when i joined the college, the fee was 1,20,000/-. The college tution fee is 1,67,000/- and the miscillenious fee add up to 1,80,000/-. The college is subjected to the government scholarship. So if any student is eligible for scholarship, can apply for it.

Campus Life

The college life is good at MGIT. The college annual fest called "Nirvana" is celebrated annually. It is a 3 day fest. The classrooms are provided with projectors. and the college also provides vaarious labs. There are various clubs in college that are run byb student community.

Admission

I am a student from Andhra Pradesh. Since the reservation percentage for non local candidates was aroung 15% only, it was quite difficult to get into a reputed college even with a rank of 4839. While applying for counseling, I checked for all the top colleges and found MGIT compatible with my rank and applied for it.

There are 2 sems for a year and for a sem there will be 2 mid exams and 2 lab exams. Those mid marks will we added to final result. We have to pay for the examination to attend the exam. Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

The truth all should know berore joining MGIT

I got an answer rank of 7381, I have chosen only ece subject in all the colleges which I have applied in osanima university, CBIT, vasaviengineering college, Gokaraju rangaraju college. Also other top 10 colleges.I got seat in this college but I prefer CB.IT college more than our college and also vasavy.College is equal to MGIT. After applying for these colleges, I got to know that Vienna is not a good college is equal and Mania university is a good college, but faculty doesn't care about students according to seat in CBI t and mjt, please. Prefer cbit. The admission process in this college is simple. You should get seat through t. G eapcet convenient quota, and then you should pay 10000 to TG eapcet website which you will be Refunded in 3 months. the admission fee of the college is 10000 and the fees of the semsester should be paid before joining the college....Read More

this is the best college for the students who are very auspicious and determined

i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More

So me getting into this college is complete randomness as in india students doesn't have power to apply to there dream college they need to select few college in that govt selects the college i applied to a lot of college like jntu , osmania , gookaraju rangaraju etc i choosed the college because they offer Ai&ML course which is my favorite subject/course to learn and govt selected me in mgit and there after they gave 3 more chances to apply , I applied in all 3 of them after seeing fee structure of my college but i didn't got selected into any of them as 3 times i got selected into mgit only so, this is how i gotten into my college....Read More
