Course Curriculum Overview

5

The mbbs and doctor job is a white collar job and of great respect and value. So i decided in my childhood to become a doctor. Now the curriculum mainly focus on practical studies rather than just theory, which exposes us to the real world and give more experience which makes us a good doctor. Exams are on regular basis and there is a lot to study , but with the right dedication and mainly if you love the job then everything is easy nothing will be difficult, you will just enjoy it

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The medical colleges , you know that after finak year there will be a training period aka house surgency period which makes us the real doctors. At this period we will be earning stipends. After that we will ve graduating and became a govt approved mbbs doctor.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 27 k (27580) and then there will be some exam fee , according to how many papers you are appearing for. I am in obc category and so i have egrantz scholarship which will cover the annual fee. And government hostel just charge 40rs per month and mess fee will be 100rs per day .When we have finished 4th year and start the house surgency we will be having stipends.

Campus Life

5

All the celebrations and days are celebrated here. That is your entertainments and there are many clubs and will make us socially relevant and productive. There is arts and sports each year , and also intermed sports and arts are also there.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel provides good surrounding, especially the mens hostel, rooms are very spacious and each room will have 3 persons. Regular cleaning will be there and the areas nearby also have many lodges and hotels, which will be useful at first when you are taking admission.

Admission

I got mbbs merit seat on the basis of neet entrance exam and my kerala rank was 690 and i got seat in thrissur govt medical college in second allotment. The eligibility of the course is the qualification mark and you can apply for seats via allotment in their neet site. The neet exam is of 3 hours and with dedication and hard work you can easily crack it, saying from my experience. I also had an obc reservation which helped a little on my allotment, but nothing much difference. All recent news can be seen on their main NEET site.

Other Applied Colleges

National Institute of Technology - [NITC] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Biotechnology)

My first preference was MBBS , so when i got a mbbs seat , i transferred there

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
