A different world of expectations.

The course i have chosen is comparatively better then the other courses as in my course most of the subjects are based on practical learning and have real life applicability and other subjects are based on renowned theories which are also applied in daily life but it's very disgraceful that my college has not taken significant steps in improving the subjects and their applicability although the subjects are good and educated but still the subjects contain many of the theories and facts and figures which are not of any use except economic society no other educative group is formed by the college authorities for students elective options we have the choice between Punjabi and history culture of Punjab although these subjects provide lots of knowledge about the past and also Punjabi is emerging as known and respectful language but still have no use in the course I have chosen.

No, the college does not provide any internship program as real-life do not have any program like this specially in Bcom. The college does not have any privilege for providing internship to their students but as there are many clubs in the college and some of them provide a type of training to the students who are the Club member for example pixels a photography club provide opportunity to the club members to work with various organisers like laugh area who provide internship to the members on behalf of club but no stipend is provided there is another club renowned musical group which provide training in singing under traditional singers

Not much placements was done through DAV there are very less percentage of students who are got placed it better level there are no major companies that visited the college the placements was done through PU

DAV Chandigarh is a hub of cultural and Technical activities there are lots of cultural activities takes place in the college campus like star night diwali night youth fest Baisakhi Mela and recently and event lost this year VIC that is visualise idealize and conceptualize the average footfall is 400 to 500 including staff the programs like this are well organised and r applaudable and yes the college authority's contribute for the functions but large part of expenses are collected by way of selling passes for the event. Events related to also organised and the events related to various clubs of the college also organised time to time like pixels Club of DAV organisers photowalk workshop for beginners for just a small amount of rupees 250 there are many more clubs associated with the college like rotary club vimukti economic society history society and literature society also there is society related to computer science

The fee structure of my college and the course I have chosen is not affordable for many of the families and even not for a normal family so the students who are thinking of getting better education was not able to get admission in the college due to high fees for your fees of the course is 25000 rupees out of which 20000 was taken at the time of admission and dressed 5000 was taken along with examination fees of Rupees 1500 college authority's did not inform about the 5000 due payment which is against the reputation as many of the students this problem in paying the due fees year after year course fees gets reduced but still its not quite affordable by all scholarship processes are so lengthy that it will take an year.

Yes the college provide scholarship to the students who perform well in the semester by reducing their fees no I did not avail any scholarship as it is my first semester no the college did not help in availing loans

I am not residing in hostel but still I knew about the hostel management there are no single rooms students share their and the college authority does not provide any PG but download Hostel Management is relatively good then other colleges different rooms are allotted to the students of different states like all the students from Himachal reside on the same floor are in the same line of the hosted so that the student Veer home like but as I got feedback from the hostlers they said that meals provided by the authorities are not good. And many times they have to eat in college canteen even after paying for the hostel and mess they have to spend money in college canteen for food for hostel students have to pay rupees 85000 for 1 year including meal charges

No I did not get any chance 2 meet our aluminium college did not provide us any platform to interact with our alumini. Nor till now i found them in taking part in college developments.

The faculty of a college is well educated and our Masters in the field of study 5 star rating can be given to the faculty of the college as they are very Cooperative and understanding the clear every doubt of the student and help them to understand things in better and interesting way help can be taken from them anytime during the college and even after the college time to time they even motivate the students to participate in various activities and enhance their skills also ask them to participate in recreational activity so that the health can also be maintained and the plus point is that faculty is very punctual
