Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my interest in computer programming and wanted to pursue it. The course curriculum here prepares us to face challenges in the coming age in this field. The faculties here are pretty supportive. Examinations are held frequently with moderate difficulty.

The campus placements here is not very satisfactory .but students still get opportunities through the placement cell. Placements here depends mainly on our course. The course I chose offer pretty decent opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost is quite affordable for the quality of education provided. Tuition fee is around 10000 per year. As it is a government controlled institution, many scholarships and financial aids are provided for the students .

Campus Life

Technical fests are held once in 2 years in the name INVENTO. Arts fest called DAKSHA is held annually by March. Many academically beneficial books are provided in the library. Sports meets are held frequently here.

Hostel Facilities

The college hostel has very limited seats available. But many private hostels and PGs are available. College hostel provision is based on reservations. College hostel is very affordable compared to the private ones.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

One should score a pretty decent score in the KEAM examination. The admission process comes under CEE. Reservation benefits are available. The exams are moderately difficult. The admission process consists of one mock allotment and 3 provisional allotments.

I do not know which companies visit as i have only joined this year but as what i know from the seniors the companies are looking for students with skills over marks. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after their 6th semester. Companies such as Tata ,TCS , ola , ather, ISRO visited our college for campus placement The average package offerdies 3 or 4 lakh per annum. The highest package at offer the tower college way up to 30 lakhs per annum If you are willing to sit for the placements many of the students could easily get placement about 80% My plans after getting degree is either doing some job and gaining some work experience for planning to go for higher studies

So when we consider curriculum, I was in 2015 KTU curriculum and it was not that much updated with current technology. But after there was 2019 KTU curriculum which is more adapted with current technology are better. So curriculum not only will help us to obtain real life experience, so they will need us to complete extra curricular activities which is need 100 points mandatory for course completion is there , so considering that it is a good thing. You need to do intership, courses etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to really enhance my programming skills due to which I planned to enrol for this course. The curriculum does not manage to prepare you for real world applications as most of the time they include just the most basic of examples. I wish they would take some input from students too in the curriculum creation. The internals are conducted twice in a semester along with an end semester exam. The exams are usually easy to moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

From S6 onwards students will be able to sit in placements drive. In my college the placement is just OK. Many companies visited and above 100 offers were made. Highest package was of 14 Lakh per annum, average package is about 4-5 lakh per annum. Students placed are above 50% in CS and IT department. I plan for both work and higher studies

I have a crazy about computers,codes and many more that's why I like more computer related course and some good coding skills are necessary if you plan to move along the course.the time period of exam are very short if an exam pass by and next exam would be happening the coming 2nd week it's very hard to improve in that short period
