Remarks

Government Engineering colleges generally have a good scope in the self paced learning opportunities, I want more freedom for study rather than pressurizing for the grades in the college curriculum.Though my decision was perfect that i got lot of freedom in the campus. So i feel happy now.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties and Facilities are awesome, With the lot of freedom and friendly faculties the life is good(LG). At the semester ends, the college becomes very strict and busy, but before it it is more easy for everyone to play around as they need.The main thing is to study good, and there is no problems about the male female interactions, Everyone is treated as humans here.

Placement Experience

The placements and the job opportunities are vast because we have a dedicated placement unit for the whole college, Working with them makes the induction and the interview prepration lot easier and there is an exponential increase in the last years of the placements

College Events

The extra curriculum is also an amazing thing here, with the help of the societies like the IEEE and the NSS and the other technical hubs, Every event become the cluster of joy and happiness and student participation is great and a great stage for the leadership.

Campus Life

Cool Infrastructure because the spaces are completely optimised to a single building, and there is a ground floor for the mechanical and electronics department and the first floor is the entering floor itself, You can google to see the cool infrastructure,Its really cool

Students are eligible for campus placement after their 6th semester. Companies such as Tata ,TCS , ola , ather, ISRO visited our college for campus placement The average package offerdies 3 or 4 lakh per annum. The highest package at offer the tower college way up to 30 lakhs per annum If you are willing to sit for the placements many of the students could easily get placement about 80% My plans after getting degree is either doing some job and gaining some work experience for planning to go for higher studies

So when we consider curriculum, I was in 2015 KTU curriculum and it was not that much updated with current technology. But after there was 2019 KTU curriculum which is more adapted with current technology are better. So curriculum not only will help us to obtain real life experience, so they will need us to complete extra curricular activities which is need 100 points mandatory for course completion is there , so considering that it is a good thing. You need to do intership, courses etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to really enhance my programming skills due to which I planned to enrol for this course. The curriculum does not manage to prepare you for real world applications as most of the time they include just the most basic of examples. I wish they would take some input from students too in the curriculum creation. The internals are conducted twice in a semester along with an end semester exam. The exams are usually easy to moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

From S6 onwards students will be able to sit in placements drive. In my college the placement is just OK. Many companies visited and above 100 offers were made. Highest package was of 14 Lakh per annum, average package is about 4-5 lakh per annum. Students placed are above 50% in CS and IT department. I plan for both work and higher studies
