Remarks

With the reviews of the seniors i came to know that,Government engineering college, palakkad have a standard because the students will go through some self paced learning, Also with the freedom space we can enjoy the college life, both are provided here so i chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is based on the KT university, Provides good pace for the study, with 60 percent coverage in the campus and 40 percent coverage in the self paced learning style, The faculties here provide better support with nice practicals exposed teaching.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 67000 per year

Placement Experience

Job opportunities has a variety of pace here,some people who go to higher studies are encouraged with the entrance mock tests,whereas who wants to go to the placements are also given training for some small amount.Every career path has a solution here.

College Events

Extra curriculum is also good, nothing to be so embarrassed of, everyone is so friendly even the faculties in charge. The campus life is different because sometimes we have to do some self learning and in other hand it has to be focused with the faculties.

Students are eligible for campus placement after their 6th semester. Companies such as Tata ,TCS , ola , ather, ISRO visited our college for campus placement The average package offerdies 3 or 4 lakh per annum. The highest package at offer the tower college way up to 30 lakhs per annum If you are willing to sit for the placements many of the students could easily get placement about 80% My plans after getting degree is either doing some job and gaining some work experience for planning to go for higher studies

So when we consider curriculum, I was in 2015 KTU curriculum and it was not that much updated with current technology. But after there was 2019 KTU curriculum which is more adapted with current technology are better. So curriculum not only will help us to obtain real life experience, so they will need us to complete extra curricular activities which is need 100 points mandatory for course completion is there , so considering that it is a good thing. You need to do intership, courses etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to really enhance my programming skills due to which I planned to enrol for this course. The curriculum does not manage to prepare you for real world applications as most of the time they include just the most basic of examples. I wish they would take some input from students too in the curriculum creation. The internals are conducted twice in a semester along with an end semester exam. The exams are usually easy to moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

From S6 onwards students will be able to sit in placements drive. In my college the placement is just OK. Many companies visited and above 100 offers were made. Highest package was of 14 Lakh per annum, average package is about 4-5 lakh per annum. Students placed are above 50% in CS and IT department. I plan for both work and higher studies
