Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Jai Hind. The course I mainly select is because of my prior interests in daily evolving technology and mainly towards the Artifical Intelligence. AKTU have very old curriculum so you should only take admission if you are ready to work from your side..The college will provide with the opportunities you just have to grab them among others. Faculties are very supportive when you have the eagerness for new things.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

To be very frank here Internships opportunities are very hard to get and very less as compared to the requirements of the strength. Here internship companies are very less as the college didn't provide for the holidays during outing period as heard from seniors.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements Gere are normally average means like 6 LPA and a goof ration of students focuses on government jobs and clearing GATE or CAT to do Masters further for good improvement in carrer and the fast one.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees here in AKGEC is comparatively less than the other NCR colleges. The tuition fees is 1,40,000 per year and the tuition fees is 1,30,000 for 1st year double sharing of which 10,000 is refundable. Scholarships are available from AKTU side you must have the category and EWS certificates ready .

Campus Life

4.5

Jai Hind. If you are getting admission in AKGEC you must not love fests that much as it is only academics and clubs focused college. But here we have a handful of fest every year like the freshers which is Navodhaya means new phase and the Diwali fest every year. The Goonj club of drama is the most famous it had shown it's potential in IITs and BITs also

Hostel Facilities

4

I have taken the hostel facility was my father says in hostel you get to meet the like minds which will develop you. I must advice to take hostel atheist for 2 years . Hostels are very good fully furnished everything provided accept the ACs for temperature like in ghaziabad.

Admission

For Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad it takes admission both through JEE Mains and 12th Boards result. For admission in CSE or related branches you must have more than 88 % in boards. For boards seats are less so you must visit within 3 or 4 days of result Declaration For CS related branches. And For JEE Mains it takes admission through UOTAC and the cutoff percentile is 86 or equivalent o a rank of 1,60,000 which is not high.

Interview Experience

4.5

I took admission through 12th board means I secured 93 % so I got CS first and my branch head took my Personal Interview. He asked general questions like hobbies or some stuff regarding new ecmvolving technology. And here is a catch that here Jai Hind is a culture in daily communication so when entering if you say that maybe you get extra points

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Due to its huge students intake which is normally 6000-7000

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology University - [JIIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Due its high fees which is 4 lakhs per year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
