I actually liked the faculties there, these teachers are super smart and understanding.

Dislikes

Small campus size, which can be hectic sometimes
No parking for four wheeler which is required as a huge sum of students use to come via cars

Course Curriculum Overview

I really liked the curriculum of GGSIPU which is being followed by each of it's affiliated colleges. The curriculum includes theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge. It's really helpfull and prepares us for upcoming corporate world.

There are many internships which are being provided in Maharaja surajmal institute. Internships in all domains are available here. The major drawback would be that 60-70 % of internship are provided in sales.

Placement Experience

Maharaja surajmal institute provides placement of around 3-3.5 lakhs on an average. Students are eligible for campus placement in 5th semester. Around 60 percent students get placed. Companies like sparkplanet, s&p global are regular recruiter.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for 1st year bcom hons in Maharaja surajmal institute is around 1.2 lakhs. And it follows for other upcoming years. The complete cost of education would be around 4 lakhs. Topper of each year are rewarded with a scholarship of around 10k.

Campus Life

The campus of Maharaja surajmal institute is small i.e., around 7 acres but it has very vibrant campus life. The clubs and societies are pretty active. The infrastructure is OKish. Majority of course books are easily available in the library.

Admission

The admission process was quite easy. I had to appear for IPU-CET which was quite easy, i got 337 rank in it. Anything under 1000 would be a safe rank. The eligibility of this course is 60+ in 12th standard.

Overall College life experience.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

SSNC have a placement cell which provides internship details and also shat company hiring details. 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for internship Highest average package is approx 12 LPA and average price is approx 5LPA and actually I don't know which company give the highest and to whom.

Students get placements in the last semester before the last exams as per my knowledge the average package is 4 to 5 lpa and highest package was 15lpa . Not all the students get placed from the college only the one's with good skills and some experience about the work are chosen.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review about Maharaja Surajmal institute

The basic eligibility includes a 12th pass candidate with a minimum percentage of 65%. The selection is done on the basis of an entrance test called IPUCET which is held every year for all courses in IP University (GGSIPU). This exam includes aptitude questions like quantitative aptitude, management aptitude, GK, verbal ability, etc. At my entrance time , total students appeared were approximately 25000 while only the top 1200 rankers being selected for Maharaja Surajmal institute. There is reservation for delhi domicile candidates in this university as similar to Delhi University.
