Course Curriculum Overview

The course mainly gives you a knowledge about almost all fields not only one specific subject but a basics in all the fields. The curriculum provides us many opportunities to interact with the outside world it provides many tech fests and all by which you get to meet new people and widens the area of your knowledge

I am not much sure about the internship opportunities internship opportunities starts from second year so I will get to know more about it in the next years but I have heard from my seniors that they had gone for internships in gdsc google developments and all

In our college mostly companies like wipro,tata infotech,ust global, Logitech ,syntel, cognizant siemens and many other companies also approach . But it's always better to try outside the campus by your own so u can take the right one which suits you

Fees and Financial Aid

If you get admission in merit seat your tution fee for 1 year will be 45000 if its management then it is around 75000 the exam fees per sem is around 2250 moreover the govt provide many scholarships if you have a high mark

Campus Life

Many Colleges Contuct tech fests like cusat had conducted a tech fest in the December month and nits and iits conduct tech fests every year. This is a great opportunity for the students as it allows them to get new friends which is always an asset

Admission

I got into this college by qualifiying for the kerala entrance examination. The application for this exam is available on cee.kerala.gov.in site. The registration fees is around 700 rupees. The exam usually takes place in the month of May most probably May 17.The exam is just an application of your +1 and +2 .It has two papers the morning section has physics and chemistry and evening section has maths.To get a good score kust make sure that you are thorough with your NCERT text.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. I first applied for most of the government engineering colleges. Then my next priority was to get into a best college other than the government ones. That's how I found college of engineering chengannur. I heard it is the second best IHRD college . So I fixed to get admission in this college.
