Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum of the mining engineering in BIT SINDRI is well designed and approved by AICTE. You will get more time of self study for GATE or any other examination. There is a need of a good infrastructure and some faculties too. Especially the lab and instruments in the mining engineering department. In one semester there are three exams you have to give two are mid semester exam and one is END SEMESTER EXAM. mid semester exam is generally have a gap of 1.5 months or some more and END SEMESTER EXAM comes after 4 to 5 months. You can do good in exams by studying moderately.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester Students are eligible for the campus placement Adani fo mining engineering students. Highest package is 44 lakhs per annum by ECE STUDENT the average package offered is 6 lakhs per annum. About 80 percent of eligible students . My plan after getting degree is if possible do masters with good colleges through gate examination or else do a job in COAL INDIA LIMITED. (CIL).
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees increase slowly in this college in accordance with the market hikes you can afford easily with the increment of fees in this college. The complete cost of the education is 3 to 4 lakhs depending on your expenses. The scholarship that are awarded are eKalyan,FFE, Alumini scholarship etc. Generally the campus placement is about 80 percent, Just you have to grab opportunity.
Campus Life
The names of annual fest are BITAANSH, generally in the month of February, RAINBOW in the month of March or April . Accessibility of books are easy. Books are generally available in library and you can buy journals from nearby store. The facilities are available in classroom that are smart board etc . Sports are organized by sports club and students play effectively sports in the college campus. Students also run various clubs and society and involved in social work and learn many qualities.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities available in room are electricity, light, fan, sweeper for bathroom, cleaning service man . The meal quality is not good menu is made by students are good but they don't provide quality of food. Hostel is affordable that is 9500 rupees yearly process is that they make available a link for the payment or registration of the hostel and electricity bill payment. In locality you will get a room for nearly 2000 rupees and for affordability you can share with 2 students and do a tiffin services or you can make food on your own if you are capable
Admission
First of all you have to give JEE MAINS examination and qualified with good score or percentile generally above 90 percentile eligibility is that you belongs to jharkhand state and have residential certificate local or permanent. You have passed 10th or 12th. The application for the admission in this college is updated on the board's website which is JCECEB all the admission related information, you can also see on college website of BIT SINDRI. Admission process generally starts after the result of JEE MAINS declared by NTA. JEE MAINS examination is conducted in two sessions one is in January and the second one is in April (timing may vary). Suggestion is that you have to get ready your all the documents like residential certificate, caste certificate,gap certificate (if applicable), etc. Don't take any chance in any document.
