Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As I am a science student, my core interested area was always animal studies. Our course curriculum includes every basic study of organisms from lower grade to the upper. The course pattern is very useful for reasearch oriented studies. Since I'm little bit interested in human physiology i think there is a need to include this topic more in our syllabus.

Placement Experience

2.5

The vast and wide infrastructure of our college is very well blended with nature. The gardens and eco friendly areas in our college is very much refreshing.College library The college library is a big treasure to the students. It provides almost every study material to the students who opted wide variety courses in our college. Washroom system for males As the overall toilet facilities of our college is better but still the availability of male washrooms are minimum compared to that of females.Dress code The students are not allowed to wear costumes of their choice even in college events. In my perspective students should be allotted to wear any standard costumes of their choices.Classroom facilities Although overall classroom facilities are good enough but still the electricity cut in between the lectures are disturbing as almost all classes uses TVs, fans, lights etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Since my course is an aided course tution fees was not collected. Exam fees which included both lab fees and study material fees was only collected from us. Apart from this some other funds were also collected from us for college - art - cultural programmes. Our college is also encouraging scholarships. The college takes a major effort and role in employing students and encouraging them for placement

Campus Life

4

In my perspective my campus life was comfortable and improved both my future and personality. College fests, College cultural fest named "chilamb", Union day etc was conducted which refreshed my campus life. College library is a big treasure for students and it's always accessible for everyone. The educational facilities are well developed in our college like implementing TV in every classrooms. Our college gives a great importance and value to sports and other extracurricular activities. The wide varieties of clubs and organisations in the college also enhance the social career of the students.

Admission

The opted course was an aided and the eligibility was +2 with 79%. Application was filled online and registered through site. Entrance exam was not mandatory for the selected course. As it was online process the admission process was comfortable.

Little Flower Institute of Social Sciences and Health - [LISSAH], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Psychology)
Reviewed on Nov 18, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
