Course Curriculum Overview
Rural Management, so with all the requisite of general MBA curriculum we have Courses related to Rural Management, Sustainability and all. Total 6 terms are there. So in total 12 exams, and numerous quizzes. We have Village Fieldwork Segment and Summer Internship as well.
Internships Opportunities
Many Internship opportunities you will get starting from Godrej, Amul to various NGOs. After Term II there will be one week long process. You will get all kind of project from Sales and Marketing to Finance.
Placement Experience
The placement starts from 5th semester. Its a one week long process, 100% placement record. 15 lac average package. Student run Placement Cell is there overviewed by Professor. Overall nice process. Many companies come every year
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees is around 15 lakhs, including all It will go around 16 lakhs. We are having placement with average package of 15 lakh, so ROI is good enough. Few scholarships are available, though I haven't received any.
Campus Life
There are annual function MILAAP, 20 plus clubs are there, many committees are as well. All regional festivals are being celebrated. Many sports league like IRMA Cricket League, IRMA Football League, IRMA Volleyball League, Sangharsh - Inter batch sporting event and many more
Hostel Facilities
Single occupancy non AC Rooms. Quite spacious. Both New and old blocks will be alloted. Common washroom. Rooms are overall good. Students Mess is there. The food is average though. 60000 per year for Hostel and average 4.5k for Mess Bill
Admission
After CAT, you have to go through WAT PI, based on the composition score you will get in. The minimum Percentile required to get through is near about 85 percentile. In my year the process was online, though now it was conducted Offline in most of the major cities. The Process is nice overall.
Interview Experience
Yes there are WAT round and subsequent Personal Interviews. The WAT topics are based on a scenario given and you have to depict or elaborate it more. PIs are based on your previous education background, Why MBA? Why Rural Management and that sort of.
