Remarks

I choose to study in Sardar Patel University, Gujarat for MBA Programme because it one of the top colleges in Gujarat for Management studies. The college has a good Return on Investment making it even affordable for all the backgrounds of students irrespective of their economic condition.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted to study MBA at Sardar Patel University because it has an excellent programme curriculum preparing students to enter into the corporate world. They follow the pattern of IIM and almost identical Teaching methods and guides.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 136280 per year

Internships Opportunities

Not yet applied, But our teachers and seniors informed us that college offers internships in Finance and Marketing. The stipend varies from 0-8000 INR or greater sometimes. The duration is of 45 days and accomplished after crowning glory of 1 year.

Placement Experience

As told by our placement cell officer and seniors, the college saw a placement record of over 95 percent with excellent job offers in major recruiting multinational companies in the year 2020. The highest package offered was Rs.6,50,000 per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I applied for this programme my first year fee were Rs.68,140 per year. Sardar Patel University offers different types of scholarships depending on ones need. On campus jobs are also allotted to the students in order to lessen the burden of loan incurred for Education.

Campus Life

It is an environmental friendly and lush green enclosed campus, saluted us as we arrived in the university. The college provides A/C classrooms with projectors, clean drinking water facilities etc. Basic amenities like Wi-Fi connectivity, 24 hours library provisions are provided to the students.

Hostel Facilities

My MBA (NRI) Hostel rooms have well organised tables - chairs with singles beds for each student and a proper ventilation of air. It has a common Tv room area and high speed Internet connection. Fresh drinking water facilities and sanitation are major plus point of the hostels with sufficient numbers of toilets and bathrooms fitted with geysers in all the floors.

Admission

I was called by Sardar Patel Post Graduate Institute of Business Management for the personal interview primarily based on marks acquired in graduation and entrance examination. Further, my Selection procedure for admission was carried out based on the marks received in the preceding exam accompanied by a Personal Interview.

All the student are placed in a collage the placement percentage is 100% . more than 100+ companyes are come for placement soo that all the student are plced and get ther dream job for working proffesion . After summer internship program the company are start coming for a placement

bussiness driven acedemics they teach exel, ppt, managerial behavior
mentor session every week in this they focus on student's personal growth

Dislikes

area like this based in shale ahmedabad where little rain can stop or affect the transportation

im persuing the colledge not get placed yet our seniour placements started and 30% palcements are done in their 3rd samister and every after 2-3 days someone comes from seniour to give the sweet for their celebartion on placement

Likes

Strong emphasis on real-world, practical applications over just theory.
The daily class timetable is well structured and very student friendly.
Many Clubs for Sports, and Extra Curricular activities.

Dislikes

The on campus drainage system is poor, leading to waterlogging during rains.
The mess lacks experienced cooks to properly preaire non-Gujrati food for students from other staters.
Location is far from city, so significant travel just for basics.

Placement Experience:

Placements of SBS are Good In terms of Long Term Exposure in the Industry. Students become Eligible for Campuse Placements after 5 Semester in SBS. Since I have recently Joined the SBS List of Companies Visted and No of offers they have made are unknown to me.

A great start to my PGDM journey

Likes

I like the friendly and comfortable environment. Here you can interact with students and others
Faculty members are supportive They give us opportunities to interact and ask questions during sessions.
I like the campus and the activities conducted for students They give us opportunities to learn Outside regular classes

Dislikes

One thing that needs to be approved as waterlogging during rainy season because water gets collected around the campus and it gets difficult for the students to move around comfortably, specially for hostel students
Sometimes the schedule can get tiring back-to-back classes in sessions
I feel there should be more space for students in campus during breaks. They can go sit and learn their.

The curriculum is relevant to management and covers different areas that are useful for a PGDM student. It includes classroom learning along with practical activities. it is useful for understanding real world concepts. so far, I find the course structure Interesting and helpful

there is a faculty is very supportive and always ready to guide students academically
the curriculum is practical and includes case studies , presentations those help me developing real world business skill
placement cell also provides training and support for internship and final placements

Dislikes

college sports facilities are less also the monsoon season some we are face some of problems

The campus is located far from central ahmedabad along the SP Ring road.

The faculty members are helpful and explain the topics in a simple and practical way.
The campus environment is good, with useful facilities and a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The academic schedule is sometimes very busy, which gives students less free time.
There are many assignments and presentations, which can become difficult to manage sometimes.
Some campus facilities can be improved further to make student life more comfortable.

The palcement oppotunities Many companies visit the campus and offer jobs area like marketing, finance, HR and sales. The college also provide palcements training, interview prepration and guideance to students. The salary package depends on the comapny, job role and student performance.

I applied for M.S University. And i also passed my entrance exam and get shortlisted for further rounds but than i didn't perform good as college required in other rounds so i didn't get the seat.
