Dislikes
- The faculty sometimes rushes through the syllabus which results in stress in the students during exams.

- The cafeteria needs to improve its food quality and provide a better meal experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of Electrical Engineering was good but not updated upto the industry standards. Mostly we had to study ourselves to make ourselves familiar with the current industry practices. The teaching method was great with friendly faculty members. The curriculum covers most of the basic fundamentals of further academic pursuits but you have to put in the hard work yourself to make yourself industry ready. The semester exams are conducted twice every year. The difficulty varies per subject, but personally, you can easily ace it by studying just a month prior to the exams.
Placement Experience
Our placements start usually at the beginning of the 4th year. Around 50-60 companies visit the campus for recruitment each year notably Accenture, Deloitte and Infosys. The highest package in our batch was 25 lpa and the average package was 5 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed revolve around 80-85 percent while many students opting for higher studies. My personal plans is to get work experience after getting my B. Tech. degree and do MBA in the future.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our year, no tuition fee hike took place although it has increased now for our juniors and the rest of the new students. The complete cost of the course during my year 2020-2024 was between 4,10,000-4,15,000 although it has changed now. Loads of financial benefits are available for students and the college accepts scholarships too, which helps in reducing the fees drastically. One of my batchmates availed the Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to avail benefits on reducing the tuition fees. The college conducts hackathons, project exhibitions and other events which give out cash rewards too.
Campus Life
As a student at Narula Institute of Technology, campus life is dynamic and enriching. Annual festivals like "Navodaya" (June) showcase student talents. The library offers a diverse range of books and journals, fostering academic growth. Classrooms are equipped with modern facilities and technological provisions. Sports facilities cater to various interests, hosting inter-college tournaments. Student-run clubs cater to diverse interests, fostering personal development. The student portal facilitates communication and access to academic resources. Overall, campus life at Narula Institute of Technology is vibrant, offering a blend of academics, extracurriculars, and social engagement.
Admission
I took admission through WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination). Most of the details about admission are given in the college website. No reservation benefits were availed. The examination is conducted once every year. Also there is direct admission in the college through JEE marks and other test evaluation scores. In total, there was no such difficulty in admission process. One area of improvement should be the college website which has its server down sometimes.
Other Applied Colleges
Sambhram Institute of Technology - [SAIT] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)
