Dislikes
- The campus is bit small, although it's acceptable considering there are only 5 branches.
- Sports isn't supported much. There is only one ground for Basketball and volleyball.
- The hostel rooms are bit small. So taking hostel or pg outside college is a better choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am studying for Electronics and Telecommunication course. Our syllabus is of Pune University. The first year curriculum is pretty easy and basic. However it isn't much application based and scoring is pretty easy as papers are very predictable. Faculty is excellent and well experienced in their fields.
Internships Opportunities
By third year, most of the students get internships. Even the stipend is very well for a student. The training and placement cell is extremely good at their job. Many companies such as Infosys, Wipro, etc hire students in large numbers.
Placement Experience
The college is well known especially for its good placements. Average placement for all branches is more than average. It might have best placement amongst all colleges in Maharashtra after VJTI and COEP. TnP cell is also very supportive.
Fees and Financial Aid
There isn't any increase in fees as such. It's actually pretty low compared to other colleges. There are multiple scholarships, however they are mostly only for sc/at caste students or female candidates.
Campus Life
There are always some events going on. Mostly technical events take place, although we also have few non-technical events. Addiction is the biggest annual cultural fest. Library has all sorts of books related to different fields. All labs are equipped with proper working equipments. Sports such as basketball, volleyball and table tennis have good facility
Hostel Facilities
There are different hostels for girls and boys, right in the campus. There is also a message for hostel students in the campus. The food is acceptable and hygienic. Although only vegetarian food is available. There are also many hostels and PGs available in the area around college.
Admission
I got in through Maharashtra state CET exam . I got a score of 97.4 percentile. Admission process was very straightforward and easy, it wasn't very time consuming. I applied through Mht cet cap rounds.
Interview Experience
No there wasn't any discussion, interview for the admission. All admissions are done only on the basis of MHT CET scores. The cut-off for this college is pretty high though, especially for computer engineering and information technology branch.
