The discipline in the campus is really good.
It's a beautiful campus. There is greenery everywhere
Students are very competitive and helping.

Dislikes

There is no real world problem solving techniques taught.
Indiscrimination between the hostel end timing in the girls and boys hostel.
More societies and clubs should be included.

Course Curriculum Overview

In first year we learn all the subjects. So, I don't know particularly about my course. Some teachers are good and some are average. The curriculum is only bookish and doesn't have to do anything with real world problem. The teaching should be more interesting and curriculum needs to be updated. There are two Sessional Test along with Class Test. And also Pre University Test and then University Test. These exams are easy to moderate level but the checking is not lenient.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 141756 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Tuition fees is 1,41,756 and Hostel fees is 1,20,000. Yes, scholarship is available for students. If your parents are in Indian Army or Airforce or Navy, then you can get scholarship. Students whose parents annual income is less than 6 or 8 lpa then they can apply for up scholarship. For general, amount is 30000 somewhat For OBC , it is 50000 For SC ST , it is upto 1 lakh, in my knowledge. There are no campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life

There are so many technical and non technical societies. One can join non tech society from 2nd semester. And technical societies from 2nd year. There are no as such festivals held in the college. There are so many opportunities for students who are interested in sports. Yes, students run their own social groups but hod doesn't like this.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is beautiful. Food is just okay okay, not that tasty.And chai is not at all good. For first year, there is no option for 2 person in a bedroom, in a room 3 people stay. There are three beds , three table and three chairs and three almirahs. An attached balcony. Mattress, pillow and bedsheet is provided. Any electronic item is not allowed, which is a sad part.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

I got admission in this college through UPTU Counselling , based on my JEE percentile. This year UPTU Counselling was conducted very late and we all were very scared, that whether it will be held or not. One can do registration for UPTU Counselling, by going on the official website. There are many government and private colleges which are affiliated with AKTU. Eligibility for this course is that, one should've JEE percentile above 88, this is for general category. For OBC category, the required percentile is somewhat less. The UPTU Counselling should be conducted on time.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Reality of Galgotias University

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

The rate of my branch was quite high because I am in CSE AIML and future is totally depends on it that's why i select this branch. The College provide 100 percent to you for makeing you a winning horse in it sector but you will be initiated from your side.the most bad things is In first normal classess are going on like 12 and that is not good.some extra curricular activities is not happen in this college .they should be focus on this points. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More

Cutoffs are nothing but the marks obtained by the last student being declared qualified. To make it more clear, let's take an example. Suppose 1000 students sit in an exam. Several students who need to be called for counseling are supposed to 500. Now, A rank list is prepared based on the total marks obtained. The marks of the 500th student are taken as the cutoff.
