Course Curriculum Overview

4

I spoke to some seniors before prioritising Engineering design in my JOSAA counsilling, I was influenced by design courses, and freedom to choose between automobile, biomedical in 2nd year. commpared to other departments here, i feel my course has good enoough practicals, labs, and interesting subjects. some 7-8 students should get a TA who would help them with doubts as every student do not have courage to ask proffessor. Ina 4- 4 1/2 semester, there will two quizes and end semster examination and if one attends classes, does assignments and prepares well during exam time, the exam level would be moderate. if one procrastinates, the curriculam would feel a tough.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

internship roles, stipends depend on department and one's skill set. like if you prepare for software roles, you will end up gettingsome thing realted to that. some of my seniors i know from engineering design department got internships in mercedes, jaguar, ather etc..

Placement Experience

4

btech students sit for placements in 7th semester and dual degree students sit for placements in 9th semester. com panies like jaguar, mahindra etc.. last year i guess some 70-80% students are placed last year. after getting degree i might opt for higher studies or research

Fees and Financial Aid

As my family income is below 1 lakh, I have to pay less course fee. so including hostel fee, for 5 years, the complete cost of my education would be around 5 lakhs. many scholarships are available, I get FFE scholarshp, in institute, students can apply for NSP scholarship. per semseter, my hosel fee is around 32 thousand and course fee aound 12 thousand.

Campus Life

4

Cultural fest called Saarang and Technical Fest called Shaastra both are held in january of every year. The central library has all kinds of science, mathematics and enginnering books, and also some books on every topic ranging from psychology, music ,games etc..but i feel range of novels is not broad. every classroom has atleast 2 projectors, and good enough lightning, ventilation etc.. there are courts of every sport, there are two big buildings dedicated to indoor gmaes, gym, yoga halls etc, and there are clubs for music, dance, art etc.. but i feel that one cannot learn a extracuriccular activity from scrach, as these clubs have selections. Many clubs help people who are good at something to excel in that feild

Hostel Facilities

4

The room is spacious enough with all necessary facilities likeLAN, table, bed etc.. Food is nutritious, healthy. No need to take PG,room as it is good inisde campus and everyones prefers to stay in campus.

Admission

The admission process is through JEE advance, which you are allowed to write after clearing JEE mains. the cut off for JEE mains is 85 percentile at that time for OBC and After clearing JEE advance, one is eligible to sit for JOSAA counsilling, one should apply for various courses which they might get in various IITs,NITs etc by seeing previous year trends in a priority order in JOSAA . some 7-8 rounds will be there, after every round we get some course in some college we applied we can accept it or wait for better options in coming rounds. and Caste and gender reservations are applied. JEE advance needs proper prepation for atleast an year. Don,t think you will not get a course, just put it in the priority order, you may get it.
