The course is good. They have an average focus on practical learning. There were research conferences. There are no elective options but the students get selected on the basis of an interview and their proposal

No, the college does not provide any internship hence the students were forced to look for the internship outside the campus

Placement Experience

The campus placements are not so good as not many companies visit the campus due to its rural outscapes hence very few students got placements no major companies visited the campus

College Events

There were fests like REDM(RESEARCH ENGINEERING DESIGNING AND METHODOLOGY) AND ESCALADE they were not very big events the college authorities do not contribute to it

The fee is quite affordable its 25000 tuition fees per semester which is well suited for most of the students as this is among the least expensive colleges of our country.

Yes the university provides scholarship on the basis of category no I am general so I don't get it

Yes, I resided in the hostel there were three seater rooms.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

It was only limited to my network no the college does not provide any platform for alumni so the alumni don't contribute

The faculty is average some are very interactive whereas others are not so interactive eventually those who are interactive are enough to motivate the students.

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

Good place and college. Bad Admin and Faculty

I took admission in Covid year, 2020.So all of colleges had delayed the admission procedure, but THDC was admitting on basis of 12th marks before even JEE mains was completed. I had not much prep for Jee, so I took admission in THDC as it was in my home district. Now the admission process is entirely online. You need to register in UTU website uktech.ac.in and select choices of college for counseling.It includes all the govt engineering colleges in Uttarakhand. It is easy and good process....Read More
