Course Curriculum Overview

Since childhood I was found of reading and impressing children, that's why i choose the teacher line, that's why i thought it right to do B.ed for myself. I think we need to change the method of teaching so that we can interact with the childrens better. After our classes we get a gap of one and a half month from 1st month to prepare for exam and in between which we used to prepare and we face a lot of challanges in preparing for the exam to study.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 5170 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

DU will raise its fees for all its undergraduate cources for the acadmic year 2022-2023. The increas in fees could be attributed to cherges in fees could be attributed to charges under new heads such as for varsity facilies and economically weaker section support fund as well as revising some other component, according to news agency PTI. DU will add new seaction such as University Facility and Service charges, Economically weaker section support University fund and university student welfare Fund. Old charges such as the University Development fund have also been hiked from 600 to 900.

Delhi university hosts several annual and technical festivals troughout the year. some of the popular once hear: Antardhvani, Crossroads. Engifest, Techspardha, EngiNXT, these are some few example. Delhi University libraries typically offer a wide range of books and journals covering various academic diciplines. The collecation often include textbooks, reference, mateials, research papers, and periodicals.

Admission

the procesure of adimission was very easy you can apply online for admission. we found the application on DU official web site. DU provide reservation and benifits on some special conditions . The frequency and timing of exams is 6 months. I think no need to improvement in admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was diverser and enriching it includes pedagogy of science and home science, national curriculum frameworks, education policy, philosphers view, human development and childhood studies, Computer applications in teaching, adolescents education, learning disabilities, inclusive education, yoga,etc. The who curriculum prepares an individual for life , the things we learnt can apply in real life setting.

Poor infrastructure, average faculty and not-so-happening campus life

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.

Placement happens every year in my college, 98%, sometimes 80%, but the salary is not that good and we have to work more, due to which we are not able to meet our expenses properly, still some children are left out of helplessness

Overview of my College.

I applied for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and central university of Rajasthan(CURAJ) other than delhi university. I got confirmed admissions in all these three universities but I chose to continue with delhi university and Hansraj College. I didn't got any rejectiona from any toher collegea and universities that I applied for. So it's a good thing. The admission process to get in here is as follows:- 1) Clear the cutoff for you course and university by giving the CUET-UG exams for undergraduate courses. 2) Go into the counselling process and select your desired courses and college or university. 3) Depending on your socre that you obtained in CUET UG exam you will be allotted the college and course. If you wish to change you can opt for the counselling in the other rounds as well. As there are multiple rounds of counselling are conducted. My overall admission process was vey smooth without any major issues. Just trust yourself and you will land in best colleges of the country....Read More
