What Students Say

Likes

Greenary ,the campus is completely covered with trees and pollution free oxygen
The management, which supports each and every individual

Course Curriculum Overview

I was influenced by watching my cousins and choose this course completely based on my interest. Our college has a very good curriculum and the department works based on it.I think it would be better if the college conducts coding competition in the college among departments every week which will be more helpful for the students to improve their knowledge and coding skills. The academic is going smoothly in our college .

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Internships Opportunities

1.5

The management constantly updates about the internships and technical events which are going to held in the world.Iam currently working on full stack development using generative ai minor project .Being a 2nd year student I didn't got any opportunity to work as an intern till now.

Placement Experience

Recently one of our seniors got high package. The placements are going well .But due to recessions in the industries some of our seniors struggling to get placed .But the management supports each and every individual to perform well in all terms .They supports technically and personally.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our tuition fee is 1,35,000 and as Iam staying in hostel ,the hostel fee is 90,000 and admission is 5000 .Our college management gives us updates to apply for various scholarships. It around costs 2lakhs for every year for a student.

Campus Life

Very recently our college hosted E-Baja event which is mechanical department event it held for 5days from 6-3-2024 to 10-3-2024.In the month of January "Traditional day celebration" took place and in December there was a technical event in all departments of the college that is "Promothene". Labs ,auditorium and seminar halls are available. The college management encourages students to participate in various sports, technical and non-technical events.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The campus is good interms of greenary and neatness. The hostel is good the mess food is average mostly good .To register for hostel first the student should login to the official college website and after that they should keep a request for hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

The eligibility to write the eamcet exam is that one should complete his/her intermediate.I have written eamcet and I got 11k rank and I belong to BC-D caste .There is 25% reservation for us .The regularly followed the updates using tseamcet official website. This exam is for 3hrs and online test. Being a online test it is quite easy but it is not easy for the people who don't know about operating computers which was the situation I have seen in my exam center .It would be better if the individual is trained in basic to operate computer ,then it will be easy for them to use the time more efficiently in exam.

Good college for getting a degree

Likes

Things I liked is our is around 40+ years old so the academic structure is well established but old fashioned
As it is Bachelor of engineering our college degree is good for higher studies like masters
Faculty are some what better compared to other colleges

Dislikes

No proper scope of physical education and sports
Attendance is considered very strictly and
Facilities in campus like proper sports equipment is not available for all games

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem to 8th sem campus placement gonna takes place there are many MNCs and startups visited for hiring like accenture etc and has highest package around 20 lakhs and avg package around 5lahks placement percentage is very good we can also do masters after degree

Life of an graduating person

Likes

Teaching was very good as compared to other colleges and faculty members have 8+ years and upto 20+years teaching experience and totally digital teaching method through smart board with PDFs and PPT's and the infrastructure was very good.
College is totally 7 blocks with a spacious ground and greenery around the college sand there is also campus hostel and bus facility available and learning facilities also very good with well furnished labs .
The curriculum is also better for professional and personal development and the placements services are very supportive for career advancement

Dislikes

The things I disliked are the timings of gates closing in morning session and there is no chance of going outside in the lunch hour .
Sometimes faculty doesn't explain some topics they will skip the topics to sit simply in the classroom with teaching
The security guards are very strict and they directly take id cards of students if they misbehave anything .

Placement Experience:

3-2 semester students will become eligible for campus placements and the companies visited are tech Mahindra, cognizant ,cap gemini, zentek, tcs, etc some of the top most companies also visited our college for placements and so many students have been placed in the companies with a good package there is almost 78% of students are getting placements in this college

NIAT - where learning and growing is fun

Likes

The teaching style and focus on practicals
More emphasis is given on coding and attending hackathons
Mentors and their constant support In building projects

Dislikes

The strict rules and pressure is real and can be frustrating sometimes
The infrastructure can be a bit better, like the building and space for games
There's very less extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Likes

As i joined into marri laxman reddy institute ,The campus is in a village bakcground it feels so nice to live over their .We do have several sports commisions in our college.
Our college provides sports facility and The campus was so hugee ,The infrastructure is very useful(i am talking about digital teaching lab equipments and all)
The teachers were so friendly with the students and the college has a perfect strcture category for every department .

Dislikes

The teachers were so nice but the college and teachers doesnt support student to enhace the student personal growth. The teachers were take the class by learning the ppt without any conceptutal representing
The infrastructure is good but thier is no maintainance in the college,Campus feels huge but it degradss interms of maintainance and enhance the campus intemrs of neatness .it feels so that after we return back from the holidays
Most importantly, the canteen food is worst. My friend face an incident that he got a dead frog in the manchurian rice. And the food is most coastly maintains low quality

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

The major one is placement opportunities should be improved

The faculty of the college is quite good
The college is in the middle of city which helps a lot
There is compulsion for 75℅ attendance and the college is open gate

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very poor.. Buildings and classrooms, benches, and computers used are very old
No sports and other extra-curricular activites and no provision for canteen
Campus is very boring.. Toilets are not clean.. The admin staff is very rude

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

Likes

The faculties are highly knowledgeable, understandable and are helpful in studies and they even mentor us in some important aspects.
Course curriculum is perfectly designed to prepare for any competitive exams that a student may be appearing.
There is not much academic pressure on students. They have ample of time to prepare for any competitive exams.

Dislikes

Management by the college and the faculties are not good
There are not much companies visiting campus. Majority of them are either for non-technical roles or are mass recruiters.
Campus crowd is not good for growth for any serious student.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

BVRIT Review: Deep Dive into Academics, Campus Life, Career Opportunities

I have got an eamcet rank of 12863. So I applied for top 10 campuses in telangana such as JNTU-H campus, VNRVJIT, GRRR, Vasavi, CBIT,etc.... I have applied only cse and allied branches of cse and I have applied for BVRIT since it is very close to my hometown. Many of my neighbours had studied in Bvrit and now are working for top mnc's. Based on my rank I got CSE(AI&ML) in BVRIT. If i had got a better rank than this, then i would have secured a seat in top 5 campuses. The admission process is very simple. You have to bring certificates and after going to college for counselling you will be given a student coordinator for your admission process. The admission process is online and there will be minimal paperwork. The exams accepted for my course is EAMCET and ECET. The cutoff will be below 13000-14000 rank....Read More
