It is definitily hectic , & includes stressful schedule initially
there should be more canteens & shops nearby
It is in a secluded area & there are not a lot of conveyance available .

Course Curriculum Overview

Specefic aspects were the analytics course has courses like DMBD, BC, data visualization, etc which attracted me because i already have a btech degree. we have many presentations that prepare for real world challenges.

Internships Opportunities

Students have been offered various intership oppurtunities in roles like sales, marketing, business development, finance etc in companies like ICICI, Pregrad, RBS, Whatfix, Tata capital, Capgemini, Accenture, Jio creative labs etc.

Placement Experience

Campus placements start from in july- august in second year. Companies include ICICI, Barclays, MUFC, Bank of america, Micron etc. My plan after getting the degree is to work in a reputed company as an analyst or power BI specialist.

Fees and Financial Aid

It provides scholarship in conjunction with government of India. Total course cost is 1800000 Rs. The course provides internship oppurtunities & live project oppurtunities too . The scholarships offered are need based, need cum merit & merit based.

Campus Life

We havre many activities, & events including Agnitraya, Prarambh, Sangram, Battle of bands. Also its a student run campus so iim kashipur has many student bodies including clubs, committies & cells & teams. I have been a part of the cultural committee & the music club , both have been really fruitful for me since i learned a lot.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms & hostels are great with a green & beautiful campus. Rooms have radiant cooling & heating. Intiallly in 1st year students have roommates then in second year you get rooms with single occupancy which is great. The food is good , love the fruit custard, menue changes every month, there are 4 meals provided daily breakfast, lunch, snacks & dinner. Initially when you come to college after submitting all documents & verification. you get the keys to your already assigned room the same day.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

I personally think that the process was smooth but cumbersome. I got little time from accepting the offer letter to arranging all the required documents . Admission happens based on the cat score & personal interview.

Interview Experience

Group discussion topics included Artificial Intelligence, Big Data etc After giving CAT , there was a GD round followed by personal interview. I prepared by staying up to date about the current affairs , news, recent technologies . In addition i refered to various transcripts of various IIM interviews.

A peaceful college life,

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was very good. The specialization which I chose was a very new concept and this university provides that particular specialization. The teaching methods were also very good with experienced teachers and weekly presentations also with different assignments.

Uttaranchal University is a gemstone!!

Placement Experience:

In digital marketing nearly 90% it the students are placed in top startup companies like the Boat, Minimalist and all who needs digital presence to sell their products. Jobs offered are of 50-80k a month and for MBA freshers this is a kind package.

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is around 90%. Students become eligible for campus placements from the start of 3rd semester, although you can get in earlier through summer internship and ppos. Overall average package is around 8 lakh. Top 15% students get 14-17 lakh. Highest package for this year was 33 lakh. Many top companies like Amazon, Adani, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, BlueDart, Dell, Deloitte, Genpact and more come to the campus. I aim on getting into big 4 consulting firms.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Insights of the college through student eye

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

The IIM of the North

I found the admission process easier (Level Medium on Difficulty scale). The process started with the CAT application form, then the CAT exam, followed by a call letter for an Interview and then the selection email. ALL ABOUT IIM KASHIPUR

No, specifically I haven't received any counselling related to IIM Kashipur or other IIM institutes. But the first advantage I saw was there were a lot of industries visit the IIM Kashipur campus.
