What Students Say

Likes

The infrastructure is really good and really natural
The teaching and non teaching staff are really friendly
A healthier environment for studying and disciplined .

Dislikes

The attendence criteria is really strict as it requires a minimum of 75 percent attendance to be able to attend the exams.
The campus is heavily disciplined, sometimes it feels like you are in school
The assignments are really so much, as it requires a lot of paperwork.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have completed my diploma in electrical and electronics engineering and this college offers the same stream so i chose the same course here.The placements are great and famous companies select students so thats a good point. The professors are great and supportive and they provide special care to weaker students.The course offers both practical and theoretical knowledge at a good scale. Exams are class tests are conducted on a regular basis, and sessional tests are conducted every semester include whole units.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 118000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Several companies provides internship to second and third year students such as seimens, mitsubishi, kuka, tcs and many more. Internships under skill india are heavily supported by the college and it contains a different block just for internship activities, i am currently doing internship on PLC and haven't done my project yet.

Placement Experience

From the seventh semester, one is eligible for placements, there are several good companies such as accenture,amazon, infosys, tcs and many more, the average package for CS and IT courses is around 9-11 lpa and 5-7 lpa for courses like electrical, mechanical and civil branches, the maximum package is 1.13 cr in 2022, an average of 90 percent students are placed every year, i have thought to persue a master's after this course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is almost similar to the collages in this area, its 142000 including all the other expenses, and have not increased in a few years, and 118000 is the tution fees, rest includes the library, security and other expanses. I have not applied for a scholorship but there are several financial aids for students from lower castes and minorities. College provides apprenticeships but there ain't any stipend for that.

Campus Life

The college does not promotes any annual fests, just the freshers party is celebrated, but it promotes technical fests as Uddan, Yantra, and many more.The library contains a vast amount of books,and several articles. Well the sports fests are only organised by the clubs and individuals, the college only supports govt organised fests such as khelo india.There are several clubs and societies in the college like oorja which includes robot based activites and nature's club which includes plantation based activities.

Admission

You should complete your 12th and give jee mains for admission here. One can get an admission through CUET or even get a direct admission. You must have chosen science stream in 12th. One can select this college in counseling session.Exams are performed on regular basis as one sessional exam and one pre-board exam every semester. The admission process is really smooth and does not require any improvement as it is really fast and friendly.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
