as a whole, the management is all right but there are certain complaints with regard to the modernization of the management and administration of the college. online mess and hostel allotment is not up-to the mark compared to other colleges.

Socially relevant and yet internationally acceptable curriculum, implementing innovative and effective teaching methodologies and focusing on the wholesome development of the students. Certain new subjects are being added every year and reviewed to suit the contemporary industrial requirements.

yes as per m.h.r.d. norms stipend is provided to all the p.g. students. the stipend is provided monthly @ rs.12,400. generally, the stipend is provided within the first week of the month.

placement is very in engineering structures specialization of nit Warangal. during 2016-17 average ctc was 4.75 inr. during last year 2017-18 only one registered student was unplaced out of 17 registered students.also many students are placed in off-campus drive. recruiters include corporate firms as well as private engineering colleges for a faculty position.

two major events take place -one in each semester. during odd semester technical fest (technozion) takes place on september or october. while in the even semester cultural fest occurs in the month of march known as "springsree". in addition to these many other events take place throughout the year in the campus.

fee- structure is on a higher side as far as nit warangal is concerned. in 2017-18 the fee for admission was rs.560000 including all expenses. hostel fee was rs.36000. but tuition fee is waived for sc/st students, they only need to pay other fees as per the norms of Telangana government.

multiple scholarships are given to students who are doing excellent in their respective fields. ap e-pass scholarship, institute merit scholarship, heritage project scholarship, endowment gold medals/scholarships, aieee scholarship(under 2k rank) are some of the well-known scholarship being provided to the students.

campus life is very good. all the required facilities are there on the campus. food street is dedicated to various eateries, separate nit-canteen is there to serve the people. a healthy gender ratio is maintained in the campus where women participation is more than 35%.robotics event and inter-nit sports competition are being held once in a year.

hostel facilities are good as far as government college is concerned. there are twelve hostels for men and 2 for women. all the hostel art well equipped with lifts, drinking water and other required facilities. separate hostels are provided to first-year students called the ultra-mega hostel.

being a sixty(60) years old college, nit warangal has a strong alumni presence throughout the world. alumni association held its annual event and its chapter in various regions hold there own ceremonies and silver jubilee batch does visit the college once in a year.

The examination is conducted twice in each semester i.e. mid-semester and end semester.mid semester carries 30 marks, end semester carries 50 marks. 20 marks are from minor examinations held in the class.in total there are six(6) theoretical subjects and two(2) practical subjects in each semester.

ADMISSION TO M.TECH COURSE IS THROUGH GATE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION CONDUCTED BY IITS AND IISC. CCMT IS THE AUTHORIZED BODY TO CONDUCT COUNSELLING FOR M.TECH PROGRAMS IN NITS. COUNSELLING CRITERIA IS GATE-SCORE WHICH IS REFLECTED BASED ON THE ACTUAL GATE MARKS SCORED OUT OF 100.

in engineering structures, the college has vastly experienced faculty members who have worked a lot in their particular field of expertise.there are 15 faculties in engineering structures(5 professors, 2 associate the professor, 8 assistant professors).even we have a faculty member whose specialization is earthquake engineering.
