This institution is one of the most appreciable institutions, and I would prefer any girl thinking to pursue the degree or competing the 10+2 course, to definitely join here.

Because firstly, I have heard about the excellent faculty here, and tbh, by my personal experience, one thing that I have been sure of that out of all the colleges providing the BCA course, our college is one of the excellent one in providing the same. Teachers are a constant guide and the entire department is like a family. Secondly, because of the surroundings. This college teaches us to be disciplined, self-dependent and gives various opportunities to show one's talents and constantly tries to bring out the best in a person.

Basically, this is a Three Year Degree Course, with each semester holding 4 different subjects, ie which changes semester wise. As in me being a student who has just completed her 2nd semester, had the four theory subjects introduction to programming, Mathematics-I, Communicative English and computer fundamentals and ICT hardware on the first sem and Data Structure and Algorithm, Computer Based Accounting and Financial Statements, Digital Logic Fundamentals, Mathematics-II, on the second set. While the practicals were based on C programming.

Basically, it does provide, but the internship opportunities are very less compared to other institutions of the country.

The placements are not up to a great level, but although few sources are reliable. But if looked on an individual basis, one can crack those competitive exams for a job, quite easily if one goes thorough with all the teachings and details of the course.

The beauty of our college somewhere also lies in all these celebrations. So, here are the main programs listed below, chronologically- I) Cultural Week- This is a week-long celebration which takes place, consisting of various competitions in various fields, may it be sports, music, dance, art, cooking, beauty etc. II) Farewell- This program is the bidding a bye program for all the students who are supposedly to end their journey from this college. Every department celebrates in their own way, in their own reliable dates. III) Freshman Social- This is a way to welcome all the freshers, through a beautiful celebration by forecasting different talents, etc. It basically takes place in the month of August or September, after the start of the curriculum's classes. Similarly, apart from these many other such small little celebrations do take place, like debate competitions, technological competitions, etc.

Being a govt self-financed course, under Gauhati University, the fees structure is feasible with around Rs. 14000 amount to be paid at the beginning of each sem as an admission procedure. Although if compared to other degree courses, as in BA, BSc, BCom, the price is double times.

There is a no. Of such opportunities gotten by many students, of the castes, with eligible criteria. The amount might range from Rs 5000-20000.

Everything is basically good. Only the gender ratio being constant on the feminine side. Extracurricular be the best in their own way. There had been records made by our fellow mates from the same institution on various intercollege level competition in the field of sports, arts etc. Also, an organization like NCC Plays a vital role in the institution, being a part of the same.

Since I'm, not a student who has been admitted to the hostel for residence, I might not be that resourceful for the collection of such information although as heard from my fellow mates, the hostel facilities aren't that weak. Discipline wise, food wise, residence wise, the hostel is of an average kind.

Basically, one gets to know only about those students who had been a part of this institution during one's stay. Since the already passed out ones seem to be less in touch. Although the seniors in contact seem to be really nice, friendly and helpful.

Every semester has two exams, one being the sessional examination, consisting of 20 marks, and the semester examination consisting of 80 marks. Basically, the mark sheet is based on 100 marks, which is gotten upon the addition of these marks. Every student in order to escape the bag log needs to compulsorily pass on both the examinations.

After my 12th standard results were out, I directly seeked for the admission forms inorder to get admitted to the course. So after the filling up and submission of form, an admission date was assigned and based on the performance of all the candidates who had submitted the forms(in the best of three basis) for the same, one after the other students were called for admission process until the 20seats were filled. And just like that i was the 6th candidate for the same.

One of the best faculties, I've ever come across. Such supportive, constantly guiding, always ready to help, are very rarely found. And I am not talking about only one or two members, but the entire faculty is based on the same principles. So homely the atmosphere is here.
