College does not allows any plastic item inside
College has huge play ground and many gaming areas
Environment will be very good and hygiene

Mess is very bad and the food will not be good

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I was trying to get cse but I got ece. But it is also good because we can go either software side or hardware side after completion of btech based on our interest.nit Warangal ece branch was very tough to pass

Internships Opportunities

We have to do a compulsory core intern after second year or third year which you can do under the professors in the college. Internship opportunities are good and given based on cgpa. We have to write Manya online tests

Placements of nit Warangal was very good .last year the highest package was 88 lakhs per annum which is highest among all nits. The student who placed with highest package is from cse.before last year highest package is 62.5 lakhs per annum from ece

Fees and Financial Aid

Here is a fee remission based on income of family. If the total income of the family is above 5 lakhs the student has to pay total fee i.e., 62500 per semister. If the total income of family is below 5 lakhs and above 1 lakh the student has to pay 20 percent of total fee.If the total income of family is below 1 lakh then the student no need to pay the fee

Campus Life

Nit Warangal contains many clubs based on different cultural and technical activities like music club, painting club,fitness club, business club etc.... college contains many sports activities and conducts intra and inter nit competitions

Hostel Facilities

I stay in the college hostel itself and different year students stay in different hostels. Room will provided on admission day itself and contains cots, fans, lights, tables, chairs and lan connection. rooms will be clean

I have written jee mains exam and scored 99.21 percentile and got AIR 7157. Duration of exam is 3 hours and I got a reservation from EWS .I have got ece in nit Rourkela in josaa counselling.after I got ece in nit Warangal in csab councelling

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.
