Facts of VIT from a VITian

Add I am in my 2nd Sem right now and I am in Electrical and electronics engineering branch so if you don't remember the some basics will be difficult for as the teachers will tell some basics to make you remember it and then just speedrun the syllabus just because to complete it before the CAT 1 exam which is very bad system of VIT as they just want to take the exams and upgrade you to next sems so that they can take freshers and make some money out of them that's I can say about the faculty members and in terms of course after talking to some seniors they say it will be more tough but one can understand as it's real life based

As much as we know we get a five month break for internship in our 3rd year so basically a complete semester for internships only and many people choose their hometown our home state to be near to home and do the internships and to gain the 14 credit points for their graduation

As VIT is very stretch and disciplined able it's placement and the placement of all the campuses is centralised to main Vellore campus and from the 1st year you learn the subject called Soft skills in which you learn to answer the different questions asked in the placement rounds of the company.

It consists of 5 fees categories 1 being the lowest of 1.7 lakh per annum and 5 being highest of 5 to 6 lakh per annum and vit also gives the complete fee structure of your 4 years of you take the same mess and same bedded room for all 4 years as myself in 4 bed AC and veg mess and having category 1 is getting 14.5 lakh per annum

It's overall good but the biggest con is the outing as they have made it so complicated that nobody thinks of going out Asian after their 1st time. But there are a lot of clubs of literally every topic you can guess and conduct a lot of activities going around specially during fests.

Except the mess did everything is good but due to the fact that it has 16 floors makes it difficult to get the lift during class hours and after coming from dinner you literally have to get in a mass like you are going inside the Mumbai local but the rooms and good , regular cleaning is being done and clean bathrooms.

After you register for the VITEEE exam , you get the chance to to select your own preferable day and slot among the given days in which the exam is going to held. After giving the exam you get the result after few weeks in which you get divided into 3 phases for Career Counseling in which phase 1 is from rank 1-20000 , phase 2 is 20000-100000 and account that phase 3 for which you have to pay to do the counselling and then few weeks later you get the result for the branch you got in which campus and in which fee category
