If required, entrance exams like the SAT, ACT, GRE, or specific subject tests were also part of the process. Cut-offs for entrance exams depended on the competitiveness of the program and the pool of applicants. These were often set to ensure a certain academic standard among admitted students. One aspect I didn't particularly like about the admission process was the waiting period between application submission and hearing back from the institutions. It could be quite nerve-wracking not knowing the outcome for weeks or even months, especially when multiple applications were in play. Additionally, the cost associated with application fees and exam registrations could add up, making it a financial burden for some applicants.

Students can avail placenta from the 7th semester where a lot of companies are available. I don't know about the highest package but all of them are pretty decent. Most of the packages are IT and sales.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
