The Environment, totally student friendly and without a doubt one of the safest campus for women
The Facility, medical facilities are free of cost for each and every student studying in the college.

Dislikes

Lack of sports infrastructure and facilities and ground maintenance
Mess food quality is one major issue of concern, improvements are required.

It provides diversified knowledge about the human body and ways to manipulate the functions and diseases by usage of our knowledge of drugs and procedures that will help eliminate illness. No course is perfect, everything has its pros and cons and there are plenty of opportunities to improve but that's where improvisation arrives and we have to prepare ourselves accordingly to face real-life situations including patient interaction and counseling

Rotatory internship is provided in several departments of the college. Some departments like PSM have postings situated in periphery like Mohanpur Primary Health Centre. Hostel facilities are also provided for Interns with 24/7 access . Monthly stipend is provided.

Single Room comes with Table , Chair, Bed, Mattress. Mess quality is worse and menu is not changed, Portion size is also less. No Process just take allotment letter from warden and submit alongside fees.

Admission

Eligibility Criteria was qualifying in NEET 2021 Application Form is found in College itself, dates will be notified in directorate of medical education website under tentative form. After that there will be a briefing procedure regarding form fillup and after that Medical examinations will occur accordingly comprising of different tables where the professors are present to evaluate the physical fitness of the candidate and will approve by their signature after that the document verification will occur and fee payment is done at the end. The College will not accept Bank Cheques and cash, other options present. 4 exams will be hend in 1 professional year with a gap of 2-3 months, And class tests and unit tests will also occur as per different departments. Difficulty is based upon a persons perception, if the topic is studied, the person will find it easier to score on multiple occasions and if their knowledge about a topic is not upto the threshold, they might face problem in scoring.

Nice college to study and budget friendly

Likes

Here the college gives priority to studies as well as clinics.
Exams are held for the assessment and question papers are of good standard.
There are no hidden fees taken.You have study hard to get the pass mark.

Dislikes

No scholarship for general category students
Not much scope of extracurricular activities
No big feasts and food is not upto the mark

Course Curriculum Overview:

The things taught to us are relevant and up to the mark . But there is need in improving the practical part. Anatomy practical were too much hactic. The pharma practical is done very nicely.Everything is taught to us in the class itself

Living my best choice!

Likes

The hostel arrangement of 2 persons per room.
The arrangement of books, journals and reading room.
The studing process with 3D visuals, lab experiments and necessary instruments.

Dislikes

Regular classes without sufficient breaks.
Sometimes extra classes are held on our games period.
There are no active clubs. Fests are held once in a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a noble profession of saving lives. The present curriculum is preparing students for the future by teaching them thorough real life cases and scenarios. Exams are also being taken regularly so that the students study regularly.

Likes

College is good for study. And I am happy to study here.
Environment is good here . This helps in our study.
Faculty expertise good, teaching methods and mentorship is also good

The exams frequently occurring 4 time in year .and timing nearly 3 hours.the frequency and timing of exam along with perspective on their difficulties level is manneged well ...so I am happy to this college.

College campus since its away from hospital area
Hostel buildings since its clean more than expected
College gardens since they planted different plants and flowers

Dislikes

Hostel mess since its not that hygienic
College washrooms since its not that hygiene

Course Curriculum Overview:

Better job opportunities and my family influenced me to choose this course MBBS is a professional course which has many hardships but also helps us to become stronger and deal with the real world and also I enjoy this course whole heartedly I would like to suggest that there should be more smart classes and group studies for better improvement The exams are not much difficult if you study regularly

Likes

The college faculty is very helpful and supportive towards the students .
The college hospital is one of the best hospital in the state .
The friends I made after coming to this college

Dislikes

The mess food is very bad and it is very hard to eat the same food over and over
The hostel bathrooms are not at all hygenic .
The college building is very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement during their internship period . They can be hired as junior residents in different hospitals or they can work as medical officer at various private nursing homes like Asha , disha etc. After completing internship students can also take admission in higher courses li MD and MS . I plan to take admission in MD after completing this course.

I liked the teaching style , special SGT

Mess food - specially dinner 😞😞, it could improve
Less extracurricular activities and small campus

HONEST REVIEW OF AGARTALA GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE

Which exam to give:- This College is Now the Best in Northeast (estd.2005), Basically this AGMC college situated in TRIPURA. Every student wants to study here. If any student wants to get admission into it then he/she needs to qualify in the NEET(National Eligibility cum entrance test) exam. Which is a National level exam conducted every year by NTA(National Testing Agency). How many marks are required:- Well, it fully depends on every year's cutoff criteria. According to previous years analysis(2019), an obc student needs to score at least 480-490 marks in NEET. Where SC need to score 380-400 and ST 310-330. Age:- A NEET candidate must have the 12th pass in any School with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. Personal Experience:- This college has many good faculties and Doctors. My college is established in 2005. Though it's a new college in terms of experience, the faculties and doctors here, are well qualified, very knowledgeable and highly student-friendly. There are good scopes of getting higher ranks in all India Examinations from this college. The infrastructure is not up to date in various aspects until now. The college authority is trying its level best to introduce the latest technologies in our college. The admission process is TRIPURA BOARD Medical Entrance Examination, based on merit.
