My college

The curriculum of this college is up to date with the revised NMC CBME CURRICULUM. The course is very well designed and it prepares you for the real world so that you can be a good doctor in the future and also excel for higher medical examination. We usually have trimester exam every 3 to 4 months and university exam is held once a year at the end of each academic year.

After completing 4.5 years of study it is compulsory for every student to do 1 year of internship in various departments like community medicine , surgery , pediatrics etc. During internship students get a stipend of 21 000 per month

The students become eligible for placement during their internship period . They can be hired as junior residents in different hospitals or they can work as medical officer at various private nursing homes like Asha , disha etc. After completing internship students can also take admission in higher courses li MD and MS . I plan to take admission in MD after completing this course.

The total fee for this course is 68 lakh and is divided into 15 lakh per year for first four years and 8 lakhs for the last 6 months . The students can avail scholarship based on their merit and family financial conditions.

The college fest is held around the month of November where students compete against a variety of fields like art , culture , literature and sports .All the student body is divided into 4 houses selected by lottery . The college library contains all kinds of medical books and journals and the college also have a digital lab . Sport classes are held regularly .

The hostel rooms are decent but the bathrooms are a little dirty . The mess food is not very good and same kind of food is served over and over again .If you want you can rent house near the college for about Rs. 3000.

After completing my class 12 , I took the NEET UG exam 2022. I qualified the neet exam and based on my state rank I registered on the DME tripura website for admission in this college . After a few days allotment list was published on the dme tripura website and I was alloted a seat in this college. After collecting my allotment letter from the Dme tripura office ,I went to the college paid the 1st year fees and did rest of the necessary paperwork and finally my admission was completed .
