AKGEC Pros and Cons

First semester, surely a 3/5 but most probably moving on it would be relevant. The college has a strict curriculum and a mandatory 75 percent attendance barrier, Classes are from 8:30 to 4:30 with 2 semester test and 1 pre University test before main semesters. All the curriculum is decided by University but yeah it would be appreciated if it becomes more course oriented instead of teaching subjects like chemistry, physics, mechanical etc to the students whose course is not relatable in any manner

Cannot say much over that that but yeah internships are available as per what I have heard from seniors .The internships are both paid and unpaid, Some are even available in campus labs such as TIFACC lab which is a professional electronic lab being made by uptac in the campus

College does give campus placement it starts from 3-3.5 lpa and goes upto 11-12 lpa, I cannot say much over it being a first year student but the placement stats are good compared to other colleges nearby

Tution fees is different for different years overall it is approximately 5 laks for 4 years which is not a lot expensive neither is is cheap, although the hostel is quite expensive, Scholarship is offered by uptac but eligibility for that is less than 2 lakh annual income and also the scholarship is last given to general people so reserved candidates are preferred first, also there are rewards for scoring first rank in all the internal examinations and 100 percent attendance

I cannot say much about campus life being a day scholar but as per I have learned from my Hosteler friends, it's alright Clubs, teams , sports all are freely available to everyone there is a cricket ground, 2 football grounds , 2 basketball court and volleyball/badminton court as well, Library remains open 8-6 on normal days while 24 hours during exams, Clubs are also really great as per I have heard

I live in Sanskriti Avaas which is quite faraway from college, it's in Noida sector 63A , I took this because college hostel was full and all nearby pgs did not have good rooms , I'd rate my hostel 4/10, Main problem is distance which is approximately 15 km , although the bus is available but still it is problematic and costly if one wants to go from his own end. my hostel costed me 1 lakh for triple sharing non AC room

The course was allotted through uptac counseling in which jee mains percentile was accepted, The application fees was 1000 primarily followed by a 20k payment upto. Allotment of course followed by the rest of fees at physical counseling stage, Reservation I opted was for ews and I got my seat under it at 215000 air in mains. I was completely fine with the admission procedure except of the fact that it took place really late
