Likes

First the most I like is location as it is in my homestate little away from my home .
Secondly faculties are also good and cooperative
Thirdly it is one only government college in our state.

Dislikes

Campus is not so developed more improvement is needed
Not have well sports activities requirement.
Hostel also not upto the mark and mess food is worst

After passing the 10th I was in bit dilemma whether to choose jee or neet bt atlast I made the decision to give neet as medical is a very noble profession.MBBS is not so easy as usual as u are dealing with the most advance and complex organism .Bt it will be easy and joyfull if do with ur passion.

Internships Opportunities

There is 1 year of internship in the hospital in various departments throughout the year and a 3 months of CHC posting also there.Stipend given is ?20,000 per month.After completion of the internship u got ur mbbs degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees are little higher in AGMC compare to other govt medical colleges in the country.campus also not upto the mark.There many scholarships scheme under National Scholarship portal for medical students.

Campus Life

There are mainly two big fests one is fresher 's meet synapse and a college week paradoxus where there many cultural activities as well as sports activities.gym is there and a cricket and badminton court also there.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are mostly good .From 2nd yrr there are single rooms for every students .There are problems regarding drinking water not so good quality.Mess food is also not good.Hostel rent is ?15,000 per year

Admission

I got the college through neet exam in my 1st attempt.I have given the exam in the year 2022.I have scored 454 and I belong to SC category.that year paper was not so easy and cutoff goes little down .Last cutoff was 429 in SC category.And it was wonderful journey till now ,I'm now in second yrr .I wish that dreams of many aspirants come true and come in this medical profession.

Nice college to study and budget friendly

Likes

Here the college gives priority to studies as well as clinics.
Exams are held for the assessment and question papers are of good standard.
There are no hidden fees taken.You have study hard to get the pass mark.

Dislikes

No scholarship for general category students
Not much scope of extracurricular activities
No big feasts and food is not upto the mark

Course Curriculum Overview:

The things taught to us are relevant and up to the mark . But there is need in improving the practical part. Anatomy practical were too much hactic. The pharma practical is done very nicely.Everything is taught to us in the class itself

Living my best choice!

Likes

The hostel arrangement of 2 persons per room.
The arrangement of books, journals and reading room.
The studing process with 3D visuals, lab experiments and necessary instruments.

Dislikes

Regular classes without sufficient breaks.
Sometimes extra classes are held on our games period.
There are no active clubs. Fests are held once in a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a noble profession of saving lives. The present curriculum is preparing students for the future by teaching them thorough real life cases and scenarios. Exams are also being taken regularly so that the students study regularly.

Likes

College is good for study. And I am happy to study here.
Environment is good here . This helps in our study.
Faculty expertise good, teaching methods and mentorship is also good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams frequently occurring 4 time in year .and timing nearly 3 hours.the frequency and timing of exam along with perspective on their difficulties level is manneged well ...so I am happy to this college.

College campus since its away from hospital area
Hostel buildings since its clean more than expected
College gardens since they planted different plants and flowers

Dislikes

Hostel mess since its not that hygienic
College washrooms since its not that hygiene

Course Curriculum Overview:

Better job opportunities and my family influenced me to choose this course MBBS is a professional course which has many hardships but also helps us to become stronger and deal with the real world and also I enjoy this course whole heartedly I would like to suggest that there should be more smart classes and group studies for better improvement The exams are not much difficult if you study regularly

Likes

The college faculty is very helpful and supportive towards the students .
The college hospital is one of the best hospital in the state .
The friends I made after coming to this college

Dislikes

The mess food is very bad and it is very hard to eat the same food over and over
The hostel bathrooms are not at all hygenic .
The college building is very far from the hostel

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement during their internship period . They can be hired as junior residents in different hospitals or they can work as medical officer at various private nursing homes like Asha , disha etc. After completing internship students can also take admission in higher courses li MD and MS . I plan to take admission in MD after completing this course.

I liked the teaching style , special SGT
Library facilities as they provide books and wifi
Frequently taking part completion test is helpful

Mess food - specially dinner 😞😞, it could improve
Less extracurricular activities and small campus
Hostel rooms which are too congested and uncomfortable bathrooms

HONEST REVIEW OF AGARTALA GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE

Which exam to give:- This College is Now the Best in Northeast (estd.2005), Basically this AGMC college situated in TRIPURA. Every student wants to study here. If any student wants to get admission into it then he/she needs to qualify in the NEET(National Eligibility cum entrance test) exam. Which is a National level exam conducted every year by NTA(National Testing Agency). How many marks are required:- Well, it fully depends on every year's cutoff criteria. According to previous years analysis(2019), an obc student needs to score at least 480-490 marks in NEET. Where SC need to score 380-400 and ST 310-330. Age:- A NEET candidate must have the 12th pass in any School with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. Personal Experience:- This college has many good faculties and Doctors. My college is established in 2005. Though it's a new college in terms of experience, the faculties and doctors here, are well qualified, very knowledgeable and highly student-friendly. There are good scopes of getting higher ranks in all India Examinations from this college. The infrastructure is not up to date in various aspects until now. The college authority is trying its level best to introduce the latest technologies in our college. The admission process is TRIPURA BOARD Medical Entrance Examination, based on merit.
