My course is engineering physics which is a combined branch of core physics and electronics. So if you didnt get electronics in the councelling you can opt for enginerring physics as 75% of the syllabus is same and in third year you can opt for electronics minor. EP curriculam is mainly focus on real life and industry appplication VLSI, digital electronics , Semiconductor manufacturing etc. The faculty is also very good and master of their respective fields. The area of improvement lies in the core physics course which deals with optics it should be more concentrated to semiconductors to make the best out of the course.

Almost every well known brand come to DTU for providing internships in the 3rd year. The roles vary from tech to non tech and research. Some of the companies also hire interns from societies. I myself gets hired for interning for a company from my society. The stipend vary greatly from company to company it ranges from 30k per month to 1L per month.

from 7th semester students get eligible for campus placements. Every big giant visits DTU for placements google, microsoft, apple, blackrock etc. and more that 85% students gets placed in campus. The highest pakage as for 2023 was offered by palatir of 1.7cr per annum and for domestic is of 83L and total number of offers were 2400. The average pakage of the college is 16Lac for 2023. and 85% were placed on campus. My plans are to pursue higher education.

The fees structure vary year to year . My first year fees was 219000 and will increase by 10000 every year. So in total my 4 year course will cost arounf 11 Lacs which is very high for a government college. Talking about the scholarship , the college provide incampus scholarships but due to the high number of applicants it is very limited and you're lucky if you get it , it will deduce your total fees by 50%. The campus employments includes campus internships where you can apply and work for the college. The mainly select on the SGPA basis and you get a stipend of 5k per month on that.

DTU is known for its campus life trust me on this if you want to enojoy your btech you must apply for DTU. Every susbsequent week there is something going on in the campus. Engifest which is the annual fest of DTU is huge !!! the vibe , the crowd you must experience one time in your college life.Then there is invictus annual tech fest, yuvaan annual film and literature fest and many more.The library is also huge and can be easily accessed moreover you also have a digital copy of everything which you can read online. The sports facility is also great you get a huge sports complex to play and relax. Apart from all these activities there are multiple societies in the college for everything you name it we have it which helps you to learn in a more practical way.

The admission is through JEE mains out of which you get your AIR. Then you apply to the JAAC portal and make your preference list accordingly.Then after rounds of councelling you may or may not get the seat. Then you have to go the designated college for document verification. The worst and most time consuming part of councelling is document verification it is in offline mode and may take upto 5-6 hours.
