Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was very good it helped me decide my path was through finance. The institute provided us with insights about various aspects which helped us prepare for the real world. To suggest an improvement I would like to reduce the number of subject per semester always found it to be too compressed.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of companies are coming for internship including kochi metro ICICI Bank, federal Bank and other companies in various posts including marketing, finance etc. marketing mainly focuses on lead generation and ensure visibility of the products services while finance is mainly focused on account creation and maintenance
Placement Experience
Almost 95% of students gets placed, over 144 offers are made by a multitude of companies such as EY, TCS, wipro, walkaroo etc. the highest CTC is around 20 lakh and average package is around 8 lakh. I hope to land a job at a finance/ accounting firm with a good CTC and opportunity to develop my skills.
Fees and Financial Aid
Comparing it to government institute the fees was high, but comparing it to other bschools the fees was very less and the roi is extremely high, the complete tuition fees will amount to 1,15,000 INR which is very less compared to top bschools in the country.
Campus Life
As our college was in a university campus many programs are held throughout the year providing opportunities to students to show their skills to others these programs include sargam, talentime etc. lots of opportunities in both sports and arts are provided in a variety of activities such as basketball, football, badminton etc in sports and dance music and painting in arts. There are many clubs like entrepreneurship club movie club speakiut club etc where students show there skills
Admission
The eligibility came down to three aspects entrance exam marks gd and interview. Entrance exam included cmat kmat and cat exams there were no exact cut off but a minimum of 200 in kmat is required. The application form was available in the website of the college fees was around 500. Frequency of exams are not bad the only difficulty came due to work load that we got
Interview Experience
Yes I did actually face gd and interview. The topic for my gd was is experience necessary for an mba graduate for which I was going against the idea of a mba graduate having experience I was totally fine for mba grads being freshers as they will be equally skilled and more hardworking. I prepared by looking at latest topics and asking others for advice. In the interview I was asked personal questions and few questions related to income tax
