A master's in business administration will give us an overall and well-rounded idea of how to manage a company. The faculty-student ratio here is awesome. It is around 1:5. The faculty are well qualified and the best in their fields.

Internships Opportunities

School of Management Studies CUSAT focuses on research projects. The internship opportunities can be improved. It depends more on the skills and efforts of students. There will be an evaluation of our projects.

Placement Experience

Our placements from the School of Management Studies CUSAT will begin by the third semester onwards. The majority of the class will get placed with the highest package of 21 lakhs and the average package of 8.5 lakhs. I am preparing for the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure in the School of Management Studies CUSAT is pretty affordable and there are enough grants one can avail for it as well. School of Management Studies CUSAT will provide us with enough opportunities to find a job outside the campus since the academics are not that time-consuming.

Campus Life

The annual fest at the School of Management Studies Cochin University of Science and Technology is conducted often in the month of July. It is called Tallentire. There is a vast collection of books in the department Library as well as the University Library.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is good. The distance from our home address plays a major role in the allocation of the hostels in the School of Management Studies at Cochin University of Science and technology. The fee is pretty affordable. There is a student-run mess facility.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th Semester onwards, i.e. in November the placement process starts. The eligibility criteria for placements is to get at least 4.8 CGPA out of 8 CGPA. Approximately 60 or more companies have visited our campus until now and more than 85% of people have been placed. (As of 3rd February 2022) The highest package until now is around 14 Lakh per annum and the average package per company is around 8 Lakh per annum. (As of 3rd February, 2022) We have a target of 100% placements until April 2022. I have already been placed, so, my plan is to do well in the job I got into, and I'm very happy about it.

My sister is an alumnus of this institute, she completed her MBA from here and suggested me to do the same as she had a wonderful experience here and was also able to develop a great relationship with her faculty members. CMAT/kmat/CAT score is necessary and there is no specific cut-off. After normalizing the score, the shortlisting process will be done. Around 700 students get the short list and after that, GD and PI will be conducted. 70% weightage is for normalized score and 30% weightage is for GD and PI. The eligibility came down to three aspects entrance exam marks gd and interview. Entrance exam included cmat kmat and cat exams there were no exact cut off but a minimum of 200 in kmat is required.
