Course Curriculum Overview

Since SMS, CUSAT is a public sector university, they can afford to hire top notch faculty and they do that .I am one among the many beneficiaries of the same. Presenty 24 permanent faculty members are there at SMS, CUSAT. Approximately 130 students leave the institute in flying colors very year. Excellent faculty-student ratio.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As I studied way back in 2009 -2011, I am not aware of the present internship opportunities. However, contact details are available at the CUSAT website (cusat.ac.in) and from there they will provide the details for sure.

Placement Experience

The placements are excellent compared to peer-level institutes in the state. The highest package has crossed 15 lac per annum. Eighty to ninety percent of the students get placements, and most of them bag more than a single offer as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since SMS, CUSAT is a public sector university campus, they charge nominal fees. For financially and socially backward students certain financial aids are available as per Kerala government norms.

Campus Life

There are a lot of cultural events including the prestigious SMS, and CUSAT talent time. Both the department library and central library are among the finest among state-run universities in Kerala. Now all classrooms are completely SMART and digitalized. Excellent sports infrastructure and facilities.

Admission

In 2009 ,CUSAT had a common admission test for admission purposes. Basic eligibility graduation with minimum 55% marks . School of Management studies, CUSAT is one of the oldest B schools in the country, with more than 50 years of academic excellence and legacy.

Is XIME kochi worth joining to pursue PGDM?

Placement Experience:

Good Placement actually depends upon the students only. The crowd inside the college should be highly capable and enthusiastic for learning. The problem at XIME is not the placement but the crowd and quality of students. The college have proper placements process. Centralized placements across the three campuses are followed. Although students need to pass certain criteria to sit in the placements such as maintaining a particular GPA.

Great College with Best ROI

Placement Experience:

From the 5th Semester onwards, i.e. in November the placement process starts. The eligibility criteria for placements is to get at least 4.8 CGPA out of 8 CGPA. Approximately 60 or more companies have visited our campus until now and more than 85% of people have been placed. (As of 3rd February 2022) The highest package until now is around 14 Lakh per annum and the average package per company is around 8 Lakh per annum. (As of 3rd February, 2022) We have a target of 100% placements until April 2022. I have already been placed, so, my plan is to do well in the job I got into, and I'm very happy about it.

Duration: 2 years Basic eligibility: Under-graduate from any course from a regular affiliated college or under distance college in Kerala with a minimum of 50 per cent marks. Application form along with necessary documents (Degree, migration certificate, passport size photograph, birth certificate, transfer certificate, caste certificate, CAT/CMAT/KMAT score card) should be filled online or directly through campus and submitted. Admissions will be based on scored obtained in one of the following: CAT;CMAT;KMAT. Shortlisted students will be called for GD and personal interview and final list will be made.

DCSMAT main are there clubs and activities the main function they conduct is luminance which improves the students to showcase their talent in front of all the people. Negatives are the climate in Vagamon is very cold and rainy.

Glimpses of SMS CUSAT

CMAT/kmat/CAT score is necessary and there is no specific cut-off. After normalizing the score, the shortlisting process will be done. Around 700 students get the short list and after that, GD and PI will be conducted. 70% weightage is for normalized score and 30% weightage is for GD and PI. A good campus which helps build your career

The eligibility came down to three aspects entrance exam marks gd and interview. Entrance exam included cmat kmat and cat exams there were no exact cut off but a minimum of 200 in kmat is required.
