Environment of the college is very good.
The local in the colllege are very supportive
Faculty and staff are very friendly in nature.

The infrastructure is the college is not good.
There is very less sporting facility except annual competition.
The university is under construction so you have to face dusts

The intership facilities provided by the college is intership in iist for electronics and communication engineering students while drdo for computer science and cyber security students The company visited here is hcl, tata, Infosys etc

Student are eligible for placement from 3rd year . There is no such placement record in college Engineering (BTech)has been started before two years. M tech students got have some placement and my plan after getting degree is job

The tution fee is decent as compared to other private colleges and government colleges. The scolarship you can get in this college is national scholarship scheme and the state government scholarship if available

Campus Life

The annual festival that take place in this college in udan that helds in the month of February every year. The sports compition organised by college authorities is hostel meet and combatica every year . There are a lot of students run group and clubs.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very awesome and the maintenance is very good The cost of hostle is 2000 per month and they Provide good food. If someone takes pg and rented room he has two travels a lot from market as University in his village.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

Student must passed 12th.must have valid jee mains score . Taking admission in this college is easy as it is a new college. You can take admission through sport round. At it is very good University. Visit college website for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester we become eligible for placements and sit for on campus interviews . In mechanical ONGC , IOCL ,JSW , physics wallah , vedanta and for cse and IT there are companies like paypal , microsoft (internship) , increff etc come for on campus placement.

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
