Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

As The course is MBBS it deals with human life. And I'm really blessed to have the opportunity to study this course. We study various clinical para clinical as well as non clinical subjects in this course. Moreover we study ethics attitude and disciplines regarding this field. How we have to deal with patients and many more. The course and curriculum is really good and preparing is very well for the real-world applications. Improvement areas- they can provide more advanced opportunities to us like teaching through videos and they can show us real life cases related to the topics they are teaching etc. The frequency and timing of exams are nice but they can provide more time as the syllabus is huge and it's really tough. Moreover they should give us more gap between two consecutive exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship opportunity is there with in the college interns are seeing patients at OPD and IPD as well doing night shifts and day shifts also during internship we have to go to a primary health care centre stay there and provide our service to the villagers there but the salary provided is very low to the interns.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a government college the fee could be lesser like other government medical Colleges are having much lower fees. The complete cost including everything may reach 8-10 lakhs. There are scholarships like NIC and many more but I'm not getting any of it as my father is having annual income more than their minimum limit that is 4 lakh per annum

Campus Life

2.5

We are having a freshers day for the new comers and a college fest in the mid of the year convocation day is also celebrated and many small events like teachers' day and foundation day is also celebrated. Various tournament like football cricket matches are also conducted. Classrooms are provided with AC and projecters. We are having Student council in which general secretary cultural secretary and many more posts are there which is selected by election process by we students only.

Admission

I had to go through NEET UG entrance exam and qualify the cut off marks. Then i had to applied for Tripura state counciling through which i got my college AGMC in the first counseling round. Admission date was given we had to visit our college with all the documents and nomination letter then after approval of all the documents finally admission was done. Improvement areas which i would like to mention is there should be more man power for the admission process so that it can take place more faster. Moreover some of the things can be done through online process also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS gives a hope of job security first, also the fee structure is bit less as compared to the other private medical colleges in India, there is a strong hospital setup along with our college gives us varied experiences in learning medicine, improvement should be made in the field of extracurricular activities which is bit less there , there are 3 exams in a year and along with a university exam afterall. Difficulty level is average

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Remarks:

As mentioned above, this is the kind of college you should choose with only with the thought of getting a MBBS degree. There's no provision any other way to entertain you. One can play sports in the field which is not at all maintained. Everything apart from Studies and clinics is below standards but that's what you're here for, right.

College is good in studying, clearing the skills in clinics as well as all other extracurricular activities. But as there is a bit less number of cases of patients come to hospital, there is less exposure to all sort of clinical conditions of patients for practicing.
