Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good and well designed, and i personally appreciate it a lot . Area of improvement: Programming labs should be more frequently and there must be focus on traching programming to students from very start of their college days.. Also teaching method can be improved Exam occur frequently so so that's a good thing for students benefit... And btech course is a wonderful one to pursue.. It shapes your personality and thinking in a very good way...

Internships Opportunities

I am a fresher so i dont have any internship offered and no experience at all But i am excited to get one when i am eligible and will surely update about that in future on this.. I hope it goes well and good

Placement Experience

Placements starts in 4th year 2nd semester Average package is 5 lakh And most of the students getting placed which is quite good Students also get off campus placements in top tech companies You can pursue M tech if you want to study further

Fees and Financial Aid

If someone gets a fee waiver then its very affordable.. But if someone get a normal seat the total fees for 4 years is around 5 lakh 141k for first year And 121k for next three years You may get a Scholarship every year if you apply College provide internship benefits as well

Infrastructure Its very good overall.. A great college space for students... Classes are well maintained also there is football ground badminton courts and many other playing area Management has taken special care of greenary and pollution free campus Club and society are there to get interacted and it improves your personality socially

Eligibility: 12th passed Mode of admission: 1.Direct 2.aktu counselling on basis of percentile in jee mains Overall Admission process is smooth through counselling and well coordinated. Cut off: Cut off to get cse branch in btech is around 90 Area of improvement in admission process: it should start early, around june so that students can explore the options, as last year admission started late so many of the students had already taken admission in other colleges..

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.

curriculum is so outdated.. so it will not prepare us for the real world challenges that we are going to face in future.. course need to update according to now.. semester exams are happen here after four month only they do not even provide proper time for preparation..and sometimes exams are easy but sometimes exams are tricky

By the way ,the placement rate in this college of 95% for CSE .Almost all students in the college get placed in reputed companies and a minimum of 75% is required in the semesters for placement.The highest placement package in this college has reached 19 lakhs per years and the average package is around 3-4 lakh per year.Additionally students in this college also have the opportunity to interns as part of their academics experience.

Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More

Earlier, the admission process was based on the AKTU exam and its counseling. From 2021, they started taking admission on JEE mains score.
