And here is very strictly environment also in each semester college do upto 5 test like ct1,ct2,st1,st2,put exams this shows the college is aware about study and about labs ,here is many good labs for 1st year students like electronics ,chemistry, workshop , pc labs ,etc

Internships Opportunities

Here seniors says the college not giving internship to students .students takes off campus internships. But I think internships are comes few companies like TCS ,etc give few tasks like about Frontend and backend making websites or also applications.

Placement Experience

Here placements is decent . In 7th or 8th semester you becomes eligible for campus placements. Companies visited like Accenture,cognizant, TCS ,wipro etc likely says here mass recruiter companies comes. The highest placement is 1.13 crore but it is off campus. On campus is 30 LPA and average packages is 4lpa to 6 lpa. And other information is also presents on college website.

Fees and Financial Aid

For details of fee structure all is presents on website www.akgec.ac.in . By the way For 1st year college fees is 1.42 lakhs and also give the exam fees upto 8000rs and fees is increases lightly with years. And no idea of scholarship of this because I am not eligible for scholarship.

Campus Life

Here is good library has Many reference books , computers , with good lighting facilities. And here may functions are held like freshers ,diwali fest ,holi fest etc .about classroom,each classrooms has one computer with one smart board and one black board and in classrooms tables are attached on stairs. There is many types of clubs for music ,for machine learning,for technology ,etc. Form my side here sports facility is not because college conducts a few sports as have college team but other sports no any team

Admission

My admission Is done through AKTU counselling on the basis of NTA JEE exam. For 2023 Aktu/uptac counselling the Eligibility of my course is when your rank up to 951525 but this is for SC category then you get the information technology branch in AKGEC. The application form and information about any query for counselling is found on website of AKRU/UPTAC. About reservation benefit, if you are SC or ST or OBC the cutoff rank is low the general category. Thank you

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
