Course Curriculum Overview

I opted Cyber security as the curriculum for it has a major benefits in our future. As of now the curriculum to my junior branches has changed and is way much better, it focuses on practical knowledge rather the technical knowledge which is very much helpful for every aspiring engineer. Many non technical courses also have a benefit of learning . But some of the faculty seems to lack proper English communication , that can be improved

Fees and Financial Aid

Irrespective of all the colleges in Hyderabad,CVR provides a seperate training for campus recruitement and also an exclusive training for MS aspirants , which makes the college stand out from other colleges. Though the processes are strict and slightly commercial, it may help you land in a 9-5 job ultimately .

Campus Life

CVR hosts an yearly fest CIENCIA, which consists of technical and non technical events. This also includes 5K run followed by a flash mob. Later , Traditional day and annual day are ended with a great DJ night ( it may or may not be good). NewGen and IEEE clubs encourages students to brainstorm their innovative ideas and help them work on it . And many other clubs like LDC,Dance and music clubs and a charity club named IKSHANA are present . IKSHANA is a self built club of our college students which thrives to help the needy with providing them food,clothes , books and many more . Coming to the infrastructure , every classroom is well facilitated with projectors and black boards. The benches are as usual nothing special . On a very serious note , Don't put any expectations on the AUDITORIUM

Admission

The admission is through EAMCET , and the cutoff varies from 2k-5k to CSE and 6k-8k for elite branches of CSE. The application forms and the details are available in the college website www.cvr.ac.in General-EWS students get 0 tuition fee if your EAMCET rank is below 10k

College Diaries

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

See yes during my EAPCET councelling I don't know about this cvr college of engineering, its infrastructure, greenary , courses , placements . Were the first college is got is geetanjali college of engineering, but almost after such research I saw that it is not better than cvr college so for the second round i changes and make it to cvr .
