Course Curriculum Overview
It is good. We have vast syllabus covering various topics. We have two quizzes, one mid semester examination, one end semester examination over a span of five month semester. It prepares us for real life problems.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are a part of the curriculum here and are compulsory during the second and third years of the degree. Companies like Google and Amazon have offered the role of "Intern" for students, along with many others.
Placement Experience
They provide excellent campus placements, the average package is 16 lakhs per annum and the highest is around 53 lakhs per annum. A lot of companies visit this college, including Google and Amazon. Around 90% students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete cost per semester here is 1.4 lakhs, including everything. So it is 2.8 lakhs per year. There is close to zero increase policy. They give fee waivers for students with SC/ST categories and for others with less income.
Campus Life
There is Incident Cultural festival in even semesters, generally by the end of February and Engineer Technical festival in odd semesters, generally by the end of October. The campus also hosts Inter-NIT sports tournaments.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are quite good and provide basic amenities required for a student. The meal quality is average for a mess/canteen. Hostel rooms include tables, beds, fans, cupboards, lights, etc. It is quite affordable.
Admission
You are eligible to write JEE if you clear 12th board with 75%. Application form is from NTA and fees is 1000. There are two attempts to write, but only one is necessary. Exam is tough with very less selection rate.
