Course Curriculum Overview

The courses and teaching of college is on an average. There are pros and cons both. The professor give you a feel of school teacher. The syllabus is almost same as we compare we prestigious colleges like IITs, NITs, etc.

Placement Experience

The college has a placement cell. There are many rules which can restrict you from seating in placement cell. From 7th semester they allow you to seat in placement. Most of students gets placement from college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of college is 1.41 lakhs and we opt for hostels it's 1.3 lakhs. The college also provide scholarship for OBC, EWS, ST, SC. College fee of 1.41 lakhs exclude examination fee only. It's including 1500 medical charges and 2500 book bank fee

Campus Life

Firstly if we see area of college in figures, it is big but in actuality it is not so big. There is no fest and festivals in college. The infrastructure is good, it gives you some British look. The library is good.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room is average. All rooms are not of same size. The mess is not so big and even the food. The food is average and the evening snacks are worst. Gym is also not upto the mark. There are few pg near college, there condition is also same.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

The admission was based on JEE rank. The application can be filled through aktu registration. The college fee is around 1.7 lakhs which include many perks like medical etc. The process of AKTU admission is very slow and I was also delayed at time of my admission.

The Placement In all the Branch is really impressive except civil branch , CSE & IT has offer per student placement of 2 to 3 Companies and average package of 5 to 6 lakh, while in ther branches 90% of student get placed with average package og 3.6 lakh , oly civil suffer in placement with only sucess rate og nearly 30%.

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

Placement Experience:

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Real Story of SCRIET

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.

curriculum is so outdated.. so it will not prepare us for the real world challenges that we are going to face in future.. course need to update according to now.. semester exams are happen here after four month only they do not even provide proper time for preparation..and sometimes exams are easy but sometimes exams are tricky

By the way ,the placement rate in this college of 95% for CSE .Almost all students in the college get placed in reputed companies and a minimum of 75% is required in the semesters for placement.The highest placement package in this college has reached 19 lakhs per years and the average package is around 3-4 lakh per year.Additionally students in this college also have the opportunity to interns as part of their academics experience.

Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More

Earlier, the admission process was based on the AKTU exam and its counseling. From 2021, they started taking admission on JEE mains score.
