I gone through the WBJEEB 2015 entrance and the pleasent environment of reading empower me to go to this college, best college.

Internships Opportunities

TCS, Wipro & infosys comes in.

Placement Experience

Previous year 56 out of 120 placed in TCS in cse (my branch) in next wipro also comes and take the students. But left branches are lower job oppurtunities and i recommed to not to choose them.

Campus Life

Good campus life. Every day in our class there is debate, singing and also there is robotics club.

Hostel Facilities

Best hostel with 25000 a semester fee. no raging all door block with entrance to seniors. But the food is not good.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves. Faculties don't help us properly. And for admission you have to give WB JEE entrance exam. Other than that nothing. Also you can have a direct admission....Read More
