I like the university because it gives us immence knowledge and experience
I liked hostel facilities by government and college
I like the safety we have here irrespective of the time of the day

Dislikes

I dont like the attendence marks and also marks alloted for assignment
I dont like the ppt presentation done by lecturers
I dont like some college rules ans some hostel rules

Course Curriculum Overview

Almost all courses are very interesting and the practical classes are also conducted which are very interesting and knowledgeable hence we both enjoy and gain knowledge in the classes and we attend the assignments regularly

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every semester the fee structure increases , but not regularly and the complete cost of your education is 200000 and the name of scholarship is ssp , scholarship is the only aid for students there are no other aids

Campus Life

Campus is good but there are no much cultural functions and the number of cultural programme and sports will be depend on the student association Their are overall 3 classroom in our college rest of rooms are lab

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good , in each room we live 2 members and we are provided with 1 bed , 1 study table and a cupboard and we get food for 4 times a day and the menu will be decided by the hostel committee members

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

It was easy, it was very easy but the distance from city to college was long but however we managed to reach as quick as possible , I am great full to kea for getting this Seat, and also the COLLEGE for giving many facilities

very good and affordable college with good hostel facilitites.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was very well structured with both theoretical and Practical exposure. The curriculum is designed in such a way that they are very relevant to real world , this also prepare the students to the real world applications and further academic pursuits. The improvements can be made in the practical part of the courses. There must be regular field visits and utilisation of funds to bring innovation. The internal exam would be after 2 to 2.5 months after the commencement of the semester and practical exams would be immediately after 10 days of the internals. The external or final exams would be after a month of practical exams. There will be enough time to prepare for the exams from the commencement of the semester but there will be no study holidays and gaps between the exams.

Placement Experience:

In this course placement is very low but other competative job is many more.5th semester students are eligible for compus placement. Fertilizer and agriculture engineering companies are visiting in this college. 3 lack package will given in company. Average 9cgp will taken every student. My gole is KAS will study after degree.

I have chosen this because many govt jobs are available in this field. Our class has nearly 58 students. All professors are M.Sc. or Ph.D. with NET-qualified lectures. 3 exams will be conducted in a semester.

My experience at Vijayapur college

In Karnataka, one can get seat in agriculture college through K-CET. We are supposed to give priority order for our colleges. So my priority order was - 1.University of agricultural Sciences, Dharwad 2.College of Agriculture, Vijayapura 3.University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur 4.GKVK, Bengaluru.. So i got into college of agriculture vijayapura. I couldn't make it to UASD dharwad since the cut off was a big high. I put vijayapura college as my 2nd priority because it is the sub campus of dharwad university itself. Uasd was my frst prefereed university because i have heard a lot about its reputation and faculty and campus life. Admission process went through Kcet board. My college rank all over India is 9th and in Karnataka it stands to first among other Agri colleges. Based on my cet ranking I got this college. I thought there will be campus selection , but my assumption went wrong. Admission process - first one should wrote KCET exam. After based on ranking one can go for counseling.
