Course Curriculum Overview
I chose GLIM because of its strong alumni base and good placements record. The teacher to student ratio is 1:12. All professor have good experience in their field of study. Exams are taken on a regular basis to check the knowlede of students.
Internships Opportunities
Internship Opportunities of the college is average. Good companies like ICICI Bank BNY Mellon Make My Trip visits the campus to give internship to students. Around 80% of the students gets internships after the process. Companies mainly offer internship in the field of sales and marketing domain.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college are pretty good. The average for our college is around 1450000 in which good companies like J.P Morgan BNY Mellon Delloite comes to give full time opportunities to students. Most of the placement are given in the field of sales an marketing and around 100% students gets placed after the placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fees of the college is 1995000 which includes hostel and mess fees as well. Average hike per year in the fess is 10%. No scholarship is given to the students on the basis of merit or for reservation. College provides internship as well as full time job opportunities to students.
Campus Life
The annual fest of college name is Lattitude. The college provides a good campus life to its students which involves co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The library facility here is one of the best and has approximately books of all domains. Students can also participate in various clubs and societies in the college.
Hostel Facilities
We have air-conditioned room with common washrooms and 24*7 supply of hot water. Our college has 2 places for mess and the quality of food in the mess is also good. We also have different shops for food which we can have after pauing them. In summary hostel facility is good for our college.
Admission
Great Lakes accepts CAT, XAT, CMAT and their admission process was smooth. Cut-off was around 80 percentile for CAT & XAT while 90 percentile for CMAT. The application process form was of 2000 and in the process WAT and PI were there. No benefits on the basis of reservation is given to students.
Interview Experience
We had WAT and PI for the admission process in which our topic for WAT was China influence on India. Personal Interview was revolving mainly around my college subjects, current affairs and about my family background. The length for interview was around 20 minutes.
