Remarks

Good remarks would be that my college is good what we need. Only if the could start more subjects and expand the college would help even more. The college could also work on the placement cell.

Entrance Preview

This college makes a student a complete person. They train you and get you ready for the outside world rather than just teaching bookish knowledge. This college has discipline and works in a personal contact system. Students are recognized by their names and bit by their roll number.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum includes studies, social and physical activities, events and seminars, participation and hosting fest, talk shows, a celebration of various important days of the year, building good relations with individuals and partition non-formal education.

Internships Opportunities

They do provide internships. The experience is overwhelming as it is something new for the student.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements and job opportunities are not very good as I have heard from my seniors. But one who hears that the child is from Loreto College, the weightage in the CV is heightened. But no great placements as such. And job opportunities is limited by only doing a BA OR A BSC

College Events

5

There are many events Independence day Teachers day Children's Day College fest Christmas Various intra college events like games, music competition, quiz, debates, presentation etc Inter-year competitions Talks and seminars by various eminent figures. Easter First Friday mass Sports day Rabindrajayanti

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is quarterly. It is feasible and inexpensive. The fees payment is the tuition fee+ lab charges if any. Along with this, there are extra courses that are additional and can be opted for with additional charges. For example, the fees are very less per quarter, for my honors subject, my fees quarterly are around 4000-5000 rupees.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are certain grants provided by our college to the less fortunates. Presently there are no loan facilities but there are scholarships.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel faculties are good as explained by hostilities. Rooms and washrooms are well maintained. The food is tasty and clean. The food quality is good. So I would overall rate an 8. There is hygiene . The hostel has single rooms and double rooms. None of them are air-conditioned but are clean. There is ample space for moving around and rooms are not stuffy. The hostilities are the only ones with free access in the entire college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni meet takes place monthly and an event is hosted once a year. They are helpful as in they get contacts to our college to help students.

Exam Structure

There are regular intervals between class assignments and tests. There is a selection exam before the main university exam. And there is the university exam. For the first years there is a mid-term exam for the students to get a hang of the type of answers expected by the university.

Admission

Online application form Submit hardcopy of your documents in the college Name list on the website Interview (department teachers and principal) Payment for the college fees Admission complete After going through with these step by step process one gets admission. There is no other way to be admitted.

Faculty

5

Honestly speaking, each one of them is extremely well read. They give the correct amount of information needed and part us knowledge about the present the world. Few don't even need books to explain a topic or a point. Their suggestion list is absolutely amazing.

From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. Mere collage The exam level is basically hard and exams are conducted twice a year.

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
