Remarks

Management is worst as they only believe in money nothing else and moreover the members of management are not up to the mark. They are friendly but needs to increase their share.

Entrance Preview

I took GATE and I scored 37.4, i opted for this college as it was the best in bhubaneshwar. Its campus is very good and it has got a practical workshop. Its infrastructure, r&d facilities, sport activities and extra curricular activities are best.

Internships Opportunities

We got one year project where we got to learn very important things and specially in renewable sector. Yes we got stipend of 8000 p.a as we are gate qualified. The stipend comes to us per year.

Placement Experience

Placement was not very good still it was satisfactory and moreover it was only concentrated on software and its very much required for core jobs to occur and is my opinion that the campus to be increased.

College Events

Annual function, seminars, sports day. The annual function was very good, sports day we got to know about so many atheletes. Seminars were organized by many scientist sportsman.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was middle of feasible and expensive, it was not too high neither very low. Frankly it was comfortable. Any poor can read by taking bank loan and very much good feasile for poor.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not applied but i know its give scholarship to ST/SC students, economically backward students. Its very good that our college gives such facilities.

Campus Life

Its campus is very good and it has got a practical workshop. It has got a very long lab, sports ground is very big and we should get that robotics, debates occurs most in our college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities was very good and meal was very much good. It good every item we could order. Service was very good, 24 hours room service was given.

Alumni/Alumna

They are very much friendly and senors help us in our studies, campus facilities and etc. They give us good advice to succeed in future and my thinking is that they are the best.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good we got two semesters and one year all we will get good marks if fail supplementary exam is there for us.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My first impression of the college I chose

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
