Remarks

The college is very good. You'll have a good time here. But it is totally on you what you will be doing after 4 yrs.

Entrance Preview

I was interested in doing masters in the field of AI ( Artificial Intelligence) which requires a bachelor degree in computer science. And this particular college offered me the same with a good campus and placements. During the interview questions will be based on the basic ncert syllabus. This will include 12th and 11th portion both.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

i have seen many students of no knowledge of computer science coming here. They put a great deal if time in learning programing languages. And making them understand concept of languages is obviously hard. But at the end they all get what they desire for. So, If you are an average student and you have a zeal to learn you'll do wonders. Speaking of research then you'll have to work on your basics.. And trust me you'll find all this here.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college do offers internships in the vacations. Notice of which you'll find on the notice board. Stipend differs based on internships.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements and jobs are good You'll find companies like Wipro, TCS etc. visiting the campus. Many students develop a idea and go into start ups. But if you don't have any such ideas then you'll find these campus placements helpful. Plus you may pool into the campus of colleges such as Jamia millia Islamia.

College Events

4

The most important event of my faculty is the NERDZ. It consists of technical and non technical competitions. Events keep on happening in the college. Atleast 7-8 events each year. Another important and exciting event is the MOSAIC.This events lasts for 4-6 days. It consists of activities such as stand up comedy, dj Nights, sports activities etc etc etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For the first semester you'll have to pay a sum of 75,000 rupees as cash or DD. Then in following 7 semesters, you'll pay 65,000 per semester. The hostel charges differ on the basis of hostel you get. It ranges from 85k to 96k. Fee structure is a little high but not that high. You can afford it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are there. You can check it on university website. These scholarships are generally awarded to students having weaker financial backgrounds and to Sc/STs and OBCs. Complete knowledge of these scholarships are mentions in a prospectus of the current year.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is very good. You'll find good canteens with non veg, veg, south Indian food. You'll find a well maintained sports complex. Talking of extracurricular activities they are enough to keep you busy. There are many seminars. I was keen to attend them but i was able to attend all of them.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel and mess food are awesome. I have seen people going crazy for hostel food. You'll find canteens just beside the hostels to fulfill your miscellaneous requirements. In addition to this services such as laundry, fruit seller can also be availed here.

Alumni/Alumna

I personally don't know about the alumni network but you'll find seniors friendly. They'll help you if develop a bond.

Exam Structure

Theory paper 30 marks are awarded internally based on 2 sessional ( 10 marks each) and 10 marks is given based on your attendance and assignments. An external exam is held at the end of the semester which is of 70 marks. For practicals 50 marks are given by internal and 50 marks by the external ( which consists of doing your practical, recording it and viva)

Admission

Firstly fill the form. Then they'll call you on the basis of the form in which you've mentioned your marks and all. After giving the interview merit list will be published. Many students also get admission on the left over seats based only on the interview. After reaching the location you'll have to depisite a application fee for interview. And they'll give you a date for the same. Merit list is published after 2-3 days of interview.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is well qualified and helpful. They will never deny to help. They are friendly. In my personal experience till now, teacher discuss the assignments with you, you answer sheets, opportunities that you must take and the current scenario of your field. I mean what else do you expect from your teachers.

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.
