Great College experience.

The college management is very supportive for everything.

This is one of the oldest college in Uttarakhand with a reputed image. The placement record of the college has been consistently good.Plus the civil engineering course in this college has always been the best in UTU and placements has also been quite high.

The course is as per UTU guidelines. But, the college focuses on value added training such as Autocad, JAVA, MATLAB for practical knowledge of the students. The college has recently built an Apple lab for development of IOS applications. My seniors have become successful IOs developers.

RIT believes that an internship is the best way to put classroom knowledge to practice. By doing an internship, we and add value to your resume while being paid for your work. Last year a lot of students got internships and even got pre-placement offers if they performed well.

A lot of festivals are celebrated: Anugoonj - the Technical festival with over 10000 participants from all across India. Technomax- Students showcase their talent and cash prizes of more than 1 lac is given Sportech: Sports fest with the participation of more than 50 colleges.

Fee structure is at per with other colleges. Fee structure is semester wise and very easy options to pay the fees. The student should look at the quality and not the price. The college provides a lot of facilities in comparison to the fees it takes. I am very satisfied with the college.

A lot of scholarhips are avalable. Toppers quota: Students who top their school - 100 % off on tution fees. To encourage sports 100% off on tuition is provided for national level players . Meritorius scholarships are also provided.

The gender ratio is good. There are a lot of girls from Nepal, Bhutan, and every state of India. To promote women education, girls are also provided scholarships provided they are good in academics. The institute has also set up a robotics lab and conducts debates regularly.

Hostel facilities are quite good and so are the food facilities. Both these facilities are quite affordable. The hostel is in the campus with a/c and non-a/c rooms. The food is very hygienic and with a variety of options. For people who do not wish to stay in the hostels there is the facility of PG's or flats near RIT which are quite affordable.

The college conducts alumni meet. Last year, the college had participation from more than 2000 alumni. The students help the college by giving referrals in their company as they are satisfied.

As per the Uttarakhand Technical Univesity guidelines, exam pattern or exam structure, - Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA). There is no cheating allowed and the rules are very strict. There is strict action against those caught cheating.

I came in through UTU counselling. The college is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University and comes under AICTE. I filled the form online, and then RIT was alloted to me by the university during the second round of counselling which was my first choice. It is tough to get admission into this institute.

The faculties are courageous thinkers and passionate teachers who drive the mission of RIT. They work hard and provide extra classes to students. Most of the faculties are professors with more than 20 years of experience. They focus on research and development for all round development.
