Course Curriculum Overview
Circulum is well designed with respect to current field and demand. During first year all branch students are given brief basics of all the branches of engineering through different subjects. From 2 nd year onwards the core subjects would be taught with respect to their branch. By organising many events , tech fests hackathons and workshops to empower students with logical thinking.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are great in our college. Students can get a chance to work at Google Microsoft GE and many more MNC and cooperative companies. Core branches also gets a wonderful opportunities to practical work with application and increasing their logical and analytical skills. Students can get post such as Junior developer, Student Intern etc.
Placement Experience
Our college offers good placements to students in reputed companies such as Google Microsoft mindtree Adobe MRFL TCS Infosys etc. Our college also offers intership to students during 2nd 3rd year. If students perform better in intership they can get a pre placement offers before 4th year. Almost 95% of the students get placed and some go for their further studies
Fees and Financial Aid
There different fee structure for students depending on the category they come from i.e. general , obc sc and st. Detailed fee structure for academic as well as hostel is provided in nitk website to which you can refer. Our college has two banks, SBI and canara which offer student loans at a very affordable interest rates. Our college also offers fee remession to students whose family income is less than 1 lakh and also for those whose income is less than 5 lakh. Therefore provides very comfortable environment to students and their family to pay college fee
Campus Life
Our college provides many clubs which is divided into categories such as technical , non technical clubs . Technical club usually concentrated on circuital and core branches which deals with projects workshop interactive sessions with professionals of particular field and many more skill based competiton. Whereas non technical club includes hobbies , skills apart from technical and core . Students can pursue their hobbies, skill or talent in the field of their interests.Through this our college helps in all around development of a student and make them well trained for the upcoming future
Hostel Facilities
As ours is a government maintained college we can't expect much from the hostel maintenance or the quality of the hostel rooms. Quality of the mess food is bearable and enough for survival. But as our college has food court and night canteen our food thrust can be satisfied
Admission
Admission to NITK happens through josaa councelling. Josaa councelling is done for the students who has cleared jee mains and advanced. ling prAfter choosing required options seat will be alloted and if not students can try in csab councelling which happens after josaa consisting of 2 rounds and same procedure as of josaa. Josaa committee takes fees two times i.e during registration and will confirming the college seat. After that you can to visit college for further process. These processes includes document verification, hostel and feepay
